"For scale, power and refinement, you won't find many better." 'What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision magazine'. 5-star review.
Flax bass cones for a natural sound
Using a brand new type of material for its woofers, the flax-coned Aria 906 speakers sound totally unique. The material is perfect at reproducing both a natural midrange and precise bass response. Making sure there's plenty of power at the bottom end, oversized magnets keep a tight hand on the cones.
TNF tweeters for smooth precision
Developing Focal's famous inverted style tweeter further, the TNF tweeters use aluminium and magnesium with Poron suspension for an exceptionally smooth yet detailed sound. Waveguides help create an accurate soundstage that makes it feel like the musicians are in the room.
Sleek curves for a room friendly style
The Aria 906s are a stand-mount design ideal for small to medium sized rooms and a listening distance of around 2.5 metres. Their curved sides and high quality finish make them blend smoothly with your room's decor. For an even smoother finish, magnetically attached speaker grilles are provided.
Front ported for flexible positioning
By placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the Aria 906s can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out on sound quality. To get the very best from these speakers, we'd recommend placing them on good quality stands of around 40 - 50cm in height.
Highly recommended by the hi-fi press, these multi-award-winning speakers deserve a demo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisW3 from Clear, well rounded sound These speakers work well with my Cambridge audio cxa60 and cxa V2 streamer. I like that they have a bass port on the front and can be positioned reasonably close to the wall. I tested these against the more expensive Kef ls50 meta and some Dali speakers, but these had the fullest and most enjoyable sound. I have run them in for around 15 hours, but already they sound great so looking forward to hearing them get to their full potential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FourBs from Great sound and clarity I was looking for something to give me a noticeable improvement over my Rega R3s. The Focals are quite large for a stand-mount but they sound lovely. Good bass, that may even need some taming, and lovely clarity that really lets you hear all the different instrumental layers without over separating them. A big plus for me is the front port that allows closer positioning to a wall. The walnut finish version is maybe not as classy as the piano black one, but I don't think it looks cheap is really excellent value for money. The glass top and leather face look very smart. Early days yet but I'd agree they deserve their 5 star reviews. So far very pleased with my change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dickotyke from Flexible, great sounding speakers Had these a couple of weeks now and they are really beginning to shine. Paired with the new Roksan Attessa amp they handle every kind of music with ease delivering a beautifully balanced sound. Equally good when played quietly or at high volume. The great finish is a bonus. A quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PeteLD from Natural and detailed sound Following purchase of a Cambridge Audio CXA81 and Audiolab 6000CDT about a year ago (both significant improvements) I had looked at potential options to replace my trusty B&W 685 speakers.as although the sound was good I suspected that they did not realise the full potential of the rest of the system. My room placement means that speakers need to work well fairly close to the rear wall which narrowed the choice but I had identified the Focals as likely contenders. I decided to give them a try and suffice to say that I’m delighted with them. After a period of running in they sound natural but also very detailed and dynamic with a great sense of space and imaging so music makes more ‘sense’ and enjoyable. Their clarity means that vocals are easier to follow - even at lower volumes. I use these for TV sound too and this also benefits. They look as good as they sound and appear to be really well put together. I did not have the opportunity to compare with other options as I would normally do but I would certainly highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Phil Bee from Trusted home trial of quality Focal speakers Not available in the shop for a demo, so ordered "blind" (deaf) as helpful staff said I could trial them at home. A few days to really warm them up and try out different locations - and it looks like I'm keeping them. Natural, rich sound, ideal companion for my Naim amp and great value too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andyz54 from They sound like music as indeed they should I wanted to replace a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze stand mount speakers with something better. I listened to some Monitor Audio Gold and B&W 706 S2 at a competitor and was underwhelmed by both. In both cases I found myself listening to treble or bass and wasn't hearing the music properly. Gven the cost of them I was a bit disheartened. However, I was able to listen to the Focal Aria 906 elsewhere and found myself just listening to the music and enjoying it so I bought a pair online from Richer. The best thing I can say about these speakers is that they play music so well that I'm happy just to listen to the music and ignore the system playing it. On most music, when the volume goes up they just make a louder version of the music, they don't boom or screech.
