Combining a DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter), headphone amp and pre-amplifier, the Fosi Audio ZH3 delivers a 3-in-1 hub for your desktop hi-fi. Enhanced features include balanced outputs for both headphones and a power amp/active speakers, an LCD readout and audiophile quality components.
High spec DAC for blistering sound quality
Featuring a premium AKM DAC, XMOS XU316 processor and four OPA 1612 amps, the ZH3 delivers stunning sound quality for its price. It also supports digital signals up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, making it suitable for use with Hi-Res Audio files.
Powerful headphone output, with the choice of balanced and single ended
Equipped with both 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, the ZH3 supports a vast range of headphones. Power output is 640mW for the 6.35mm output and 2570mW for the 4.4mm output. Combined with the 3-level gain switch, this ensures the ZH3 drives a wide range of headphones, from in-ears to over-ear designs.
Versatile connectivity
For input versatility, the ZH3 has you covered. For digital sources there’re USB-C, coaxial and optical inputs – perfect for your PC, CD and TV. In addition to this, the ZH3 also has an analogue RCA input that’s ideal for connecting a phono pre-amp equipped turntable or other analogue source. Outputs include balanced XLR and regular RCA phono.
Customise to suit your preferences
For the sound that best suits you, the ZH3 is packed with customisable settings. As well as bass and treble controls there are six filters, including a bypass mode. Swappable op-amps let you experiment with different components, tweaking the sound to suit your preferences.
