With its 12 inch woofer cone and unassuming casing, the Monitor Audio Anthra W12 is compact enough to fit many rooms without drawing too much attention to itself. Until you switch it on. Featuring a mighty 900 watt amp and a cone that does justice to it, the Anthra W12 has the power to produce foundation-shaking bass. Thanks to its dedicated MaestroUnite control app and colour display, it’s also easy to optimise to your precise preferences, making it suit a vast range of different locations and system types.

RST II technology for superior bass control
Monitor Audio’s proprietary RST II (Rigid Surface Technology) C-CAM driver technology ensures that the bass isn’t just deep, but also tightly controlled. The textured cone is light and rigid, meaning that the bass response doesn’t ‘wallow’ but stays upbeat and in perfect sync with the music or soundtrack.
Dedicated control app – MaestroUnite
The innovation continues with Roksan’s MaestroUnite app. Available for Apple and Android devices, the app manages the system setup and audio control. Through it, you can customise audio preferences, explore advanced configurations and use to control a Roksan/Monitor Audio eco-system. There’s also a full-colour display on the rear of the sub that lets you select basic setup and EQ presets.
Choice of inputs
With a choice of inputs, the Anthra is ideally suited to a range of different systems. Choose between balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs for your source input. A 12V trigger connection makes this sub ideal for using as part of a fully connected home automation system.
Link multiple subs for evenly balanced bass
XLR and RCA phono inputs are paired with matching outputs. These let you daisy chain the bass signal to up to three other subwoofers. With two or more subwoofers in the room, you get a more even spread of sound.
High rigidity cabinet – in black or white
Constructed from 25mm thick MDF, with a 36mm thick front baffle, the Anthra’s cabinet is built to resist cabinet distortion. Available in Satin White or High Gloss Black, it makes the perfect match for many of Monitor Audio’s speakers yet is also neutral enough to blend with other speaker brands, too.
