Universal stands that ideally suit the Gold standmounters
The Monitor Audio ST-2 are high quality universal speaker stands that suit a wide variety of premium standmount speakers. They work especially well with Monitor Audio’s own Gold 50 6G, Gold 100 6G and Platinum 100 3G models, bolting directly to the speaker. Keeping the overall design as clean and clutter-free as possible, a cable channel at the rear of the stands routes speaker cables out of sight – right the way to the floor.
Heavy duty design for bass reinforcement
Using a sturdy central column and base, the ST-2 Stands add mass to the speakers, helping to reinforce the bass response. The centre columns are acoustically lined for vibration absorption. For further mass damping, you can also fill the centre columns with a proprietary stand filler.
Big on stability
For enhanced stability, the ST-2 stands features additional weight plates positioned in the die-cast plinths. These reduce the pendulum effects that can result from a front-heavy speaker. The stands are supplied with four adjustable feet for further improved stability.
