More powerful than ever and closer to the legendary TITAN’s design, this is the best sounding M5 yet. Thanks to additional inputs, including HDMI, USB-C and MM/MC phono, it’s also the best connected too.
A sound upgrade
Based on the high-end TITAN amp, the M5xi boasts an entirely revised amplifier circuit. Featuring a Darlington output stage and new PCB layout, distortion is reduced to vanishingly low levels. Configured as two independent power amps, the monoblock construction enhances channel separation for immersive stereo imaging and enhanced soundstaging.
Impressive power
Rated at 160 watts per channel (at 8 ohms), the M5xi has plenty of power in reserve, even when driving inefficient speakers. The wide dynamic range and capacious power reserve means that it can handle stadium rock and full orchestras without breaking into a sweat.
Input everything
For system versatility, the Musical Fidelity M5xi connects up to every source you could wish. Connect your TV via HDMI eARC and other digital sources using the USB-C, optical and coaxial inputs. There are five analogue inputs, one of which can be used as a home cinema input bypass. On top of this, the built-in phono pre-amp is now switchable between MM and MC cartridges.

Versatile phono pre-amp for MM and MC cartridges
If you’re a vinyl fan, you’ll appreciate the uprated phono pre-amp. Now compatible with both MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges, the M5xi partners a wider range of cartridges than ever.
