The Ortofon Quintet Blue features a Moving Coil (MC) motor system rather than the more usual Moving Magnet (MM). fantastic sound and great value
i upgraded my ortofon MM cartridge to the Qunintet Blue MC,I am 73 years old and did wonder if my "old ears" would tell the difference.
Has it just it's like listening to new records hearing things I have never heard before.
Don't let age put you off upgrading
