The Sanus VMA401 is an elegant 'floating' shelf solution to wall-mounting your hi-fi and AV equipment
Elegant and discrete
With a bracket depth of just 34mm, the VMA401 looks sleek, elegant and works especially well beneath a wall mounted TV. The bracket design is a world away from clumsier designs and is complemented by the rounded edges of the glass shelf.
Practical design
The VMA401 looks good and is practical. The 6mm tempered glass can hold up to 6.8kg and has a total depth of 368mm - enough for the deepest components. A neat feature is the modular design, which allows the addition of more VMA401 shelves for more storage. Also, the integrated cable guides keep the wires neatly out of sight. Finally, micro-adjustment ensures the unit is perfectly situated, even after installation.
Ask us about installation! With different wall types requiring specific fixings and some TVs requiring adaptor plates, you may prefer to get your TV professionally installed by us. Please ask in store about our range of installation options.
Please note, although categorised as a 'universal' bracket, ever-changing TV design means that we cannot guarantee this bracket will work with your particular TV.

Good solid glass shelf
The shelf it self is very aesthetically pleasing, its a large glass shelf big enough for most equipment, the fixing is easy all holes are pre marked and as usual with Sanus every type of fixing is supplied. The only issue is getting off the black plastic cap to allow you access to the fixing points, it is very hard to get off you think you might break it but luckily i didn't. pull hard enough and off it comes. That is why its a 4 stars..

I bought this for a turntable and the man at Richer Sounds said it would do. I fitted it with no problems. Unfortunately the shelf is only supported at the rear. When I put my turntable on it it dipped slightly at the front. It was secure enough just not very stable. I ended up buying a couple of large brackets to support the weight. This did make it stable. Another issue is that it was held too close to the wall to allow the lid on my turntable to be lifted. I had to remove the original bracket which was fine because of the ones I'd added. It almost works now but I think I will need to move the whole thing half an inch further from the wall but this is a job for another day. All in all I think I would have been better just to put up a wooden shelf.

I was so glad when it arrived.
My wife bought me a Dali Spektor Vokal for Xmas. It’s quite a hefty speaker that needed a solid wall mount shelf. I fitted it quickly and it’s solid enough to support my new speaker.
