Ideal for in-wall subwoofer
Designed to drive an in-wall subwoofer, the Velodyne Acoustics SC-600DE makes the ideal amplifier for discreet installations. Simply loop the speaker signal through the amp and adjust the crossover to best suit the subwoofer application. With a punchy 200 watts of power on tap, efficient bass control is guaranteed.
Power for your sub
Using a Class AB amplifier, the SC-600DE produces 200 watts RMS (400 watts dynamic power). Ample for keeping the SC-IW600 X or SC-IW800 X under tight control, the amp ensures that the bass isn’t just deep but tightly controlled too.
Loop speaker signal
With high level speaker inputs and outputs, you can simply loop the main signal through this amp. Then simply use the crossover and volume controls to adjust the sub to the ideal setting for your room. You can also loop through RCA signals, plus there is an LFE RCA phono input that’s ideal for linking directly to an AVR.
Automatic calibration
For optimal response, the SC-600DE comes equipped with automatic calibration with DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Connect the supplied microphone and the system measures the room’s acoustics and sets the amp for the best response.
Wide range of adjustments
The low pass crossover varies from 30 – 160Hz, making this amp suitable for use with all types of speakers, from large floorstanders to compact desktop speakers. For bass that’s timed to perfection, you can adjust the phase between 0, 90, 180 and 270 degree settings.
Auto on and overload protection
Ideal for custom installations, the SC-600DE features switchable auto on, meaning that it can be placed out of sight. There are also RS-232, 12V trigger and IR inputs for easy system integration. Overload protection and automatic switch-off keep your system safe.
