Designed to complement the AE100 and 300 series, the Acoustic Energy Sub seamlessly extends the bass response to an entirely new level. Ideal for both hi-fi and home cinema systems, the AE Sub delivers prodigious bass and mighty dynamics for a cinematic or live concert feel.

The long-throw, 12-inch woofer cone has the power to rattle the windows and drops right down to 26Hz for bass that you can truly feel. Power is nothing without control
For bass that’s as smooth and responsive as it is deep and powerful, the AE Sub features a high quality, built-in amp. The digital amplifier delivers 250 watts of continuous power for high volume, low distortion sound. As a digital amp, it also uses less mains power than a conventional analogue amp of the same power. Spiked feet help to isolate the cabinet and further reduce distortion for a tighter and cleaner sound.
Fully adjustable to suit your system and room
The AE Sub has both Line and LFT (Low-Frequency Effects) inputs for compatibility with all amps and AV receivers. Switchable phase control means the subwoofer stays in time with the music, even if it’s placed behind you – simply switch the Phase Control to 180.
Choice of finishes
With its rounded edges and uncluttered appearance, the AE Sub is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. The silver spiked feet give a visual lift and are supplied with rubber caps for use on hard flooring. Available in subtle shades of matte black or matte white, it fits in with a wide range of decors.
