Featuring six zone outputs and a wide range of inputs, the Biamp MA247 is ideal for larger, multi-room/zone venues.
5 + 1 Zone output
With no fewer than six output zones, you can select a different volume level in each section. This is ideal for venues with different sized rooms and different efficiency speakers. Zone 1 is fully independent, meaning you can even select a different input source for this – perfect for when you want a different music mood in a specific area. You could also use one zone for selective paging while the music continues in the others.
Zone 1 pre-output
Zone 1 also features a dedicated pre-amp output. This lets you attach a larger power amp. With a more powerful amplifier attached, you can use this zone for ‘party-level’ music in large spaces.
Mixing amp
The Biamp MA247 is also ideal for mixing microphone with music. Designed for commercial applications with the need for music and voice over, this amp lets you switch seamlessly between the two. The unit comes with four mic inputs, three balanced and four unbalanced audio inputs.
Line speaker system output
Designed to work with line speakers, the MA247 makes the perfect partner for Biamp's matching installation line speakers. Working with 50, 70 and 100 volt systems, the MA247 outputs up to 240 watts to a 100 volts line system – enough for powerful sound in larger rooms and venues.
Flexible paging
Use with optional Biamp MICPAT-6 or MICPAT-2 paging microphones and a wide range of paging options become available. With two to six zone paging, twin paging groups – allowing different parts of the building to hear different messages – the MA247 is perfect for busy sites requiring music and voice over paging.
