Versatile AV amp that puts sound first
Arcam have a long heritage in premium audio and, with the AVR5, it’s clear to hear. The Class A/B amplifier sounds every bit as good with music as it does with thumping soundtracks, making this a truly all-round entertainer. With a true 60 watts per (7) channels, the AVR5 is suitable for all but the largest rooms.

Bringing the cinema home, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders provide truly immersive sound through ceiling or up-firing speakers. The Arcam AVR5 offers both systems, giving a 5.2.2 system with twin ceiling or up-firing speakers.

With processing for 7.2.4 channels, you can add a 4-channel power amp (or two stereo power amps) and not only double the ceiling speaker count but also add additional effect speakers – giving total sound immersion. For the best results, match with the Arcam PA410 power amp.

Connect the AVR5 to your network via wi-fi or Ethernet and tap into a wide range of streaming options. These include Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2 and UPnP (Universal Plug ‘n Play). MusicLife control app
Take full control of streaming music to your Arcam device with the MusicLife control app (now available for Android and Apple iOS devices). Working with the wireless system, it lets you stream music directly from your device as well as servers or computers connected via UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play). The latest version brings Internet Radio, Podcasts plus streaming from TIDAL and Qobuz. Advanced features, such as library searching, sorting, shuffle and repeat playback are also catered for.

Internet radio opens up access to a choice of hundreds of radio stations from around the world. Backing this up, the built-in DAB and FM tuners give wide-ranging access to all your favourite stations, including popular digital only stations, such as BBC 6 Music and 4 Extra.

With seven HDMI inputs and twin outputs, the AVR5 handles the most complex AV systems. The HDMI2.0b sockets are compatible with HDCP2.2 and eARC. Six digital and six analogue inputs are ample for a wide range of audio components – such as CD, streamer and pre-amp equipped turntable. There are also optical digital and analogue outputs – ideal for recording or looping sound through the Arcam.

Compact dimensions make the SONIK 1 ideal for wall mounting. Fitted with keyhole mounting slots, they can be hung from the wall with a single screw. They also come supplied with rubber isolators that damp the speaker against the wall. Alternatively, for desktop or bookcase use, the supplied rubber feet help keep the speakers secure and isolated from vibrations.
