Great product and easy to use.
Just bought this week and really impressed with the ease of use and the app is easy to use too, the sound is brilliant with the Q150 I purchased for this amp. Me and my wife sat in the listen room just playing I favourite music through the amp. brilliant amp well worth its price tag

Great sound but DTS play-fi could be better
I bought this to replace a Cambridge Audio CXA60, as the built in phono amp and streaming allowed me to cut down the number of external boxes I have connected, and when it came on offer at only £50 more than the standard amp I jumped at the chance.
The amp is very well built and a lot smaller than the Cambridge, it is useful having a display on the front showing the input being used and the volume level.
I updated the firmware to the latest version and tried connecting to my wifi, it was tricky at first but once I had read the instructions properly I was OK. The DTS play-fi app isn't the best but if you are using Spotify you probably won't need to use it much as you can control things from the spotify app.
Sound is excellant, very smooth and detailed. It is worth trying the digital filters to find the one that suits you best.
Overall a very nice amp.

Great sounding versatile amp
A long time fan of the original 8000, the new range from Audiolab is a very welcome sight.
I chose the 6000a play as offered everything I wanted in terms of versatility with input options.
The finish is exquisite, and the sound really does give a performance that’s astonishingly good for the price.

Fantastic system
Received extensive advice and support, initially via email and then in the Cheltenham store. Managed to hook it up to my old CD player, my new turntable and new speakers. In addition linked it to my Spotify account so I can stream music too. Lots of additional facilities to link additional units to it too. Looks modern and is well built.

Great sounding amp with added convenience
After a lot of agonising over amp and or streamer options I came upon this after listening to a 6000A and loving the sound. Finding out they did this made the decision for me. After reading reviews and any negatives being linked to software glitches and peculiarities that have now been fixed. I’m rediscovering my love of music thanks to this amp and a Spotify subscription. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this or the 6000A

Crisp, clear and good sound depth
Over many years I have assembled a record collection which plays for about 20 days if played continuously. This includes some 140 vinyl LPs in almost mint condition. Having travelled a lot in my work I have been having to listen to my collection from iPods, or small speaker computers.
Having finally retired with time and place to install a decent system I went to Richer Sounds and discussed my needs in detail. I did not want a large unit I just wanted to own a good listening system. Also, I appreciated that my range of hearing is not as good as it was and saw little point in purchasing equipment which went beyond my hearing capabilities, but needed to ensure that the system would react to rapid changes in frequency and volume.
I listened to this unit in Richer Sounds listening room and was able to select music tracks with which I am familier. The system decided upon, with close listening to the speakers, seemed to fill the bill.
It was delivered next day and I set about connecting it all up. After about a week have I finally got it set up. I am now able to listen to tracks which I had long forgotten. The output is very, very crisp and I am hearing instruments which I had long forgotten thanks to the full frequency response of the system. The tracks in stereo are very broad.
Of particular importance to me was the provision of a phono input so that I can listen to my vinyl records direct from the turntable. This is excellent and it is great to hear the output direct from the record.
I highly recommend this product and, for me, it had been an excellent choice and outstanding value for money.

Exactly what I had hoped for …and more.
I purchased the 6000A Play at the Reigate branch and was delighted to audition the amp with the 6000 CDT. Ian who is manager was extremely helpful, informative and also enthusiastic especially about the Dali Oberon 5 speakers I’d decided to partner the equipment with. The sound quality, versitility of the Play and price of the Audiolab system was exactly what I had hoped for and more. I’m extemly happy, thanks Ian & Richer Sounds.

Superb amp, terrible app
Really impressed with the amp, sound is brilliant but the app you have to use to get the high res sound is terrible. Closes for no reason. Very difficult to navigate amazon music playlists, doesn't automatically play high res, you need to select a tab each time. Really impacts the user experience of what is an exceptional sounding amp for the money.
