Excellent, transparent amplifier
This amplifier is doing exactly what I want of it, by disappearing! I listen to classical, rock and quiet acoustic music. It’s never intrusive or stressed, so I’m hearing subtleties in quiet passages, yet openness and space is retained in complex loud orchestral moments. It has its own DAC. The instructions could be improved.

This is a powerful amp …
… for the money, the features enclosed are second to none, powerful Bass punch via my B&W 606S’s. The amp has a built in respectable MM phono stage, built in DAC with two optical and coaxial inputs, giving you the potential of four digital inputs.
There is an output for a power amp if you so desire, or in my case driving a B&W ASW608 quite happily.
The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with my final purchase.

A great amp
Two weeks ago I popped in to the Norwich Store to upgrade my current system.
I chose the audio lab amplifier and CD player and paired it with Dali speakers.
The Richersounds staff in the Norwich store were fantastic in setting up the cables for me.
Got this next day delivery set up straight away.
And the sound of this amplifier and the operation was great,

Quality bit of kit
Bought this amp as an upgrade to my old amp. The difference was quite amazing. It has added a real weight to the sound delivered. Also painless ordering process from richer sounds. All good.

Great value for the price
After a lot of research I decided on this amp. So glad I did. Im no expert but it does sound wonderful playing through my Dali Oberon 5's and Bluesound node 2i.
Previously it was my Denon x4400h avr, difference is really noticeable. Music is now more dynamic, bigger soundstage, bass is more controlled, tighter. You can pick up the different musical instruments individually. I really didn't think a stereo amplifier would make such a difference, it does.
Thumbs up to Richersounds in Stockport and Adrian, great service.
So if you looking for an amp in this price range I would highly recommend it.

Has kept up with system upgrades
I've had this for around a year now, and it was great as a standalone integrated amp, but has easily kept up with system upgrades - first from Q acoustics 3020i to Quad S2 speakers. Then I added an external power amp, the XTZ A2-300 (which doesn't change the sound signature, but adds some weight and authority), and very recently, an Earmen Tradutto DAC.
I've also upgraded my speaker cables to Tellurium Q blue II and my interconnects to Chord C-line, and nowhere along the journey has the 6000A failed to do justice to my improvements. It really is a first-class amp and you'd have to pay appreciably more to do better. It's so very detailed, handling frequencies across the sound spectrum with great ease and balance, helping to produce a fine sound stage with good voice and instrument tonalities and airy separation.
All in all, it's astonishing value even at the present price of £649 (I paid £599 for mine) and I can thoroughly recommend it as a complete no-brainer. Right now, I feel my system is as good at it's ever likely to be. I suspect I couldn't better it unless I were prepared to spend at least twice as much, which I know I'm not.
