£1,599
”From high-resolution digital audio streaming to vinyl via compact disc, the Omnia has you covered.” ’Trusted Reviews’ - Recommended
The sleek unit that does it all
When it comes to what the Omnia does, the answer is pretty much everything hi-fi related! There’s a built-in CD player and network streamer for your main music sources. DTS Play-Fi technology provides easy access to Internet radio and your favourite music services. It also functions as a multi-room audio enabler. The built-in DAC means the unit works with your digital sources, making it easy to connect your TV, games console and PC. At the other end of the audio scale, there are analogue inputs, including one for a turntable (with MM cartridge). Bluetooth connectivity and USB inputs complete the connections. Just connect your choice of speakers or headphones and you’re good to go.
Audiolab amp at its heart
Back in the early 1980s, Audiolab’s first product was an amp – the legendary 8000A. It’s good to see that the amp in the Omnia is as impressive as you’d expect from this top hi-fi brand. Using a substantial power supply, with multiple outputs, the Omnia has plenty of oomph and the clarity to match. The Class AB amp produces 50 watts per channel, giving effortless, room-filling sound. The pre-amp section works fully independently, letting you add your choice of active speakers or a more powerful power amp.
The best home for your headphones
If you’re a ‘can fan’ then you’ll be just as impressed by the Omnia’s dedicated headphone amplifier. The independent, current feedback amplifier supports a wide range of headphones – from 20 – 600 ohms. The dedicated headphone amp delivers punchy, dynamic sound to your headphones, even if they prove tough to drive. If you suspect you’ve never quite got the full potential from your headphones, the Omnia should have the power to impress.
Digital core
Whether it’s a CD or Spotify, Internet radio or sound from your TV, digital sound processing plays a hug part in the final sound. Making sure the Omnia makes the right impression with all media, it uses a top quality ES9038Q2M/32 bit DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor). Combined with the powerful processing, it means you get scintillating digital sound that’s compatible with many Hi-Res music formats, including MQA.
DTS Play-Fi for effortless music streaming
DTS Play-Fi is a premium, wireless control system that brings everything under one 'roof'. Download the free app and you'll not only have access to Internet radio via Sirius XM but also popular music apps such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and Amazon Music. As well as streaming from music services, the Omnia also streams from NAS drives and PCs with UPnP support.
Multi-room potential – DTS Play-Fi and Roon Tested
More than just a single zone music streamer, Play-Fi offers the potential for full multi-room music. Simply add other Play-Fi compatible sources and you'll quickly be able to build up a comprehensive music system around your home - all under the control of a powerful app. The Omnia is also Roon Tested, making it compatible with the Roon multi-format, multi-room software system.
Versatile, high quality CD player
Making the most of the Sabre ESS DAC, the CD player delivers the full potential from your CDs. Using a read-ahead digital buffer, it’s also more tolerant of imperfect discs that might be scratched or dirty, letting you play your most loved discs that other players won’t.
Asynchronous PC input and MQA for Hi-Res music
The DAC can also be accessed via the asynchronous USB, PC input. This is the ideal way to connect your PC or laptop and listen to your digital music library. Compatible with many Hi-Res music files, including DSD (Direct Stream Digital), the USB input turns this system into a powerful Hi-Res player. The Omnia is also compatible with Hi-Res MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) music files. Although studio master quality, the beauty of MQA is that files are small enough to easily stream and don't take up so much storage space on your player. A further USB port is ideal for media players and also supports Hi-Res music files.
Plug in your TV and games console
As well as streaming, the Omnia lets you hook up your other digital sources. Twin optical and coaxial inputs let you connect your TV, Set-top TV box, Blu-ray/DVD and games console. Once connected, you not only benefit from the Audiolab’s award-winning amp tech but also the reference quality digital electronics – giving amazing clarity and detail.
Bluetooth your smartphone
For quick and easy connectivity with your smartphone, simply use the Bluetooth 5.0 link. Ideal for smartphones, tablets and laptops with Bluetooth, this wireless connection gives easy access to music stored on your phone and music streaming services, such as Spotify, Tidal and Deezer.
And not forgetting your turntable
With all its digital connections, the Omnia still hasn’t forgotten about your analogue sources. As well as three line level inputs, there’s also a handy turntable input for decks with a MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge. The high quality, low noise phono pre-amp delivers a full-bodied balance that does justice to the warmth and depth of vinyl sound.
Colour display
Equipped with a 4.3 inch, TFT colour display, the Omnia is easy to use. It was also display real-time VU metres, letting you keep a track on the dynamic peaks from your music.
Catering for all your music sources, in style, the Audiolab Omnia is the complete package.

Onwards and Upwards
I have used Richer Sounds before and not being an audio expert value their knowledge and advice. Back in 2017 I purchased a Pioneer HM86D all in one unit and have enjoyed the sound it produced very much, however playing records trough the line in on it was not very good, so now in 2023 I wanted to improve the situation hence the purchase of the Audiolab Omnia another all in one unit, I am glade to report that it plays records through its phono input great. So far have tried out the cd and usb sticks and both sound good also. The unit is quite large and looks to be well constucted, I like the simplicity of all in one units the 50 watts output is more than enough to drive a set of Qaccoustic concept 40 floor standing speakers. The unit also has a lot of other features to do with steaming music from internet providers/local networks which I have yet to marster but I am sure it will be just a good as the rest of the units performance. As I said I am not an expert but so far very pleased with this purchased, also came with 6 years free warrenty.

Superb Service
I was on the hunt for a good all in one amp and streaming system along with a pair of great speakers. Well I got them. After a few try’s of various system all heard in their superlative listening room, I settled on some Oberon 7 speakers and an Audio Lab Omnia. All at a fantastic price. Really fantastic. Took it all home and set it up. Oh no the amp didn’t cut but the speakers did. No problem. Richer Sounds got me a great alternative which they let me take home to compare. Again no problem just an amazing amount of patience. This time it was banging. The knowledge of the guys in Chamber St, Edinburgh was second to none. They know what I wanted, what sound I liked and what my main listening was. They had it all sussed and what I got fitted the bill superbly. The guys were no helpful and as I’ve said so patient. I’ve already recommended them to loads of people. Why wouldn’t you shop at Richer Sounds. 5 stars!

Audiolab Omnia review
Purchased July 2022 it's now February 2023. Original and replacement unit returned as both developed the same fault. Unit freezing sporadically non responsive to remote or unit buttons/ controls. Also play fi app just horrible. Evo 150 bought as a replacement. So far so good App light years ahead of play fi reliable and easy to use. Shopped at Glasgow branch forever big thanks to David sooooo patient and helpful what an asset to the organisation.

Audiolab Omnia
I wanted a new hi-fi unit to replace all my separate's with a phono stage, booked an appointment to have a listen with the Leicester branch of Richersounds. Really please with the package on offer and loved the sound of the Audiolab, so brought it. The staff in the shop are always really helpful.

Great sound, good functionality and nice looking.
I bought the Audiolab Omnia as a replacement for an ageing Arcam Solo.
I am more than happy with the unit which i think gives an improvement in sound quality and functionality over the Arcam .

Great Service
I wanted to be able to play my old records, my old CD's and stream music from as few devices as possible but I wanted the quality to be good. It's been a long time since I purchased anything like this but I needn't have worried. I went to Richer sounds in Milton Keynes and the service was great. My wife and I were given advice on the benefits and less strong points of different components and speakers. We eventually went for the Audioline Omnia, Pro-Ject T1 turntable and a set of Monitor Audio SILVER 200 speakers. A great choice as the sound is excellent.
My thanks to Gilbert who helped us along the way.

Nearly excellent.
I have always liked the idea of one unit that combines all the different sound sources that I might listen to. With the advent of digital sources such as streaming and Bluetooth etc, the Omnia seemed to be a good way of bringing my system up to date. The bonus was that as well as playing CDs, it also had a phono input socket which is a format I have gone
back to and enjoy very much. Once it was set up - I have read easier instructions, the Omnia gave very good results for all the digital inputs with the CD player being outstanding. This is due, no doubt, to Audiolab’s DAC stage. The phono input was a disappointment however. Sound quality is highly subjective, but to me whilst the Omnia had made the digital sound more natural, it had gone the other way with vinyl and taken all
the warmth out of it, making it more metallic. I even checked that my cartridge was compatible with the Omnia (it was, MM). As a final check, I went back to my Rega phono preamp and plugged it in through an Aux socket. The result was a noticeable improvement. Slightly harsh at the top end maybe, but acceptable all the same. I recognise that the Omnia is very new to the market, but I hope that the Audiolab engineers will revisit the sound of the phono stage for this growing market.
