Now with DAB
Already a great all-rounder, the AXR100D stereo receiver now features a built-in DAB, digital radio. This gives you access to a wider range of radio stations, such as BBC 4 Extra, 6 Music and 1 Xtra – without requiring any Internet connection for streaming. Digital sound also gives a hiss-free, reliable reception. An FM tuner is on board for analogue radio, too.
Powerful, 100 watt performer with two sets of speaker outputs
With a mighty 100 watts per channel at hand, the Cambridge Audio AXR100D packs a powerful punch. Providing ample power for the largest rooms, the AXR100D is perfect for filling lofty spaces with smooth, effortless sound. Twin speaker outlets mean you can have a pair of speakers in another room or spread four speakers around a large, open-plan space.
Your whole system connected – including a turntable
Featuring a phono input (for turntable with MM cartridge), the AXR100D is the perfect amp for a vinyl-based system. This is just the beginning, though. Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and other source. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. For more bass, you can add your choice of active subwoofer via the dedicated output.
Digital inputs
As well as being more powerful than the smaller AXR85 model, the AXR100D also features a built-in DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) for connection to your digital sources. Twin optical and a coaxial digital input are perfect for hooking up your TV, games console, DVD/Blu-ray player or any other device with a digital output. Connecting digitally means you can take advantage of the latest digital technology built into the AXR100D, for the best sound possible.
Built-in Bluetooth
With Bluetooth built-in, streaming music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop is just a click away. Pair with your device and effortlessly stream your stored music and popular music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.
Sleek style
As well as packing in the features and sounding great, the AXR100D combines this with smooth style. The Lunar Grey front panel contrasts with the black top and sides, making it ‘pop’ into crisp focus. The cool white display and logical layout give a timeless style that’s typical of the Cambridge Audio brand. The teardrop profile with wedge foot mirrors the CX Series, showing a strong family link between ranges.
From vinyl to Bluetooth streaming, and everything in between, the Cambridge Audio AXR100D has it covered.
All that’s great about the TT-3, plus more
Building on an already impressive deck, the Argon Audio TT-3 PLUS includes tonearm and cartridge upgrades, as well as a built-in phono pre-amp for enhanced versatility. The carbon fibre hybrid tonearm enhances the cartridge’s support, which itself is upgraded to the award-winning Ortofon 2M Red, giving TT-3 PLUS a more detailed and dynamic sound.
Built-in phono pre-amp for flexible connectivity
For near universal connectivity, the TT-3 PLUS features a switchable phono pre-amp. This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi or speaker system with an ‘AUX’ input, with no extra devices required (RCA cable supplied but your system may require an RCA to 3.5mm adapter). If you have a dedicated phono pre-amp, or a high quality one fitted to your existing amp, you can simply switch off the one in the turntable.
Sturdy plinth with isolation feet for low distortion sound
With its rigid MDF plinth and vibration absorbing feet, the Argon Audio TT-3 PLUS has a solid foundation for high quality sound. It helps resist vibrations, letting the aluminium platter and tonearm perform to their optimal abilities. The premium quality motor provides smooth, consistent sound that brings lifelike vitality to all types of music.
Carbon fibre hybrid tonearm
A key upgrade with the PLUS model, is the fitment of a carbon fibre hybrid tonearm. This uses a carbon fibre arm tube with ATS (Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer ) and an aluminium headshell. Being stiffer than steel, the tonearm is more rigid, meaning that it conveys the music more accurately, as there's reduced arm resonance. In short, the music sounds tighter, punchier and more detailed than before. For easy cartridge swaps, the aluminium headshell is detachable.
Ortofon 2M Red cartridge included
Matching the quality of the deck and tonearm, the TT-3 PLUS is supplied with the award-winning Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. Usually priced at around £100 on its own, this top quality cartridge ensures a high standard of connection with your records. The highly polished, tipped elliptical diamond gives excellent tracking without causing excessive wear to your vinyl.
Sleek, high quality design
Using just a single dial for speed and power, the TT-3 PLUS is a sleek, clutter-free turntable. The smooth good looks are enhanced by the high quality finish. Choose from classic black, white or real walnut wood veneer for the look that best complements your room.
Dig deeper into your music, with the Argon Audio TT-3 PLUS.
Immersive sound from a slender floorstanding speaker
Ideal for medium-sized rooms, the Wharfedale Diamond 12.3i offers the deep, powerful sound you'd expect from floorstanding speakers while keeping the overall dimensions relatively compact. Using a second, dedicated bass woofer, the Diamond 12.3i also punches hard. Not only does this second woofer unit increase the depth and volume of bass, it also helps to 'fill out' the sound at lower volumes, making this an ideal speaker for use at all volume levels.
Ideal for hi-fi and home cinema
The speaker size makes them equally suitable as stereo or front speakers as part of a Diamond 12i Series home cinema system. Matching centre and effect speakers are available. They're also easy to place, working well close to, or away from the rear wall.
The i’s have it
Following on from the original Diamond 12 range, the 12i benefits from a raft of updates to improve both sound and style. Extensive research has led to a new bass port design and revised internal damping. Together with tighter driver production tolerances, the result is a more agile bass with a smoother integration with the midrange for a more lifelike balance. A new range of finishes brings this classic speaker bang up to date and ready to grace any décor.
Klarity by name and nature
Featuring Wharfedale’s Klarity cone material, with hybrid construction, the Diamond 12.3i delivers fast and upbeat bass and a striking vocal clarity. At the top-end there’s a textile dome tweeter that delivers the perfect balance between detail and refinement.
New choice of finishes
Available in a choice of contemporary finishes, the Diamond 12.3i looks smarter than ever. Deep Black is a rich, semi-matte finish that blends well with source electronics. Stone Grey is a lighter finish that suits modern domestic aesthetics. Finally, Classic Walnut has a traditional wood effect finish for warmth and timeless appeal.
Precision engineered cabinet
With its new bass port, the airflow works in perfect harmony with the cabinet’s internal volume, ensuring a seamless and unobtrusive response. The cabinet itself is engineered from differing thicknesses of MDF to control resonance. Combined with the strategic bracing, this makes it solid and free from the distorting ‘boxy’ sound that can afflict some speakers. In short, you get to hear the soul of your music, distortion-free.
Sparkling with all types of music and movies, the Wharfedale Diamond 12.3i make a big impression.
