Built to resist distortion
Keeping this power in check, Q Acoustics have fitted the Q B12 sub with a large, diecast aluminium heat sink – keeping the amp cool running and the power coming. The cabinet is thick-walled and reinforced, making it as rigid as possible. This greatly reduces unwanted vibrations and rattles, meaning you can turn the volume up higher without distortion.
Room-friendly style and choice of finishes
Although no shrinking violet, Q Acoustics have rounded the ages off this mighty sub for a less obtrusive style. Black or white finishes are available or, as an extra cost option, luxurious deep gloss black or white.

Great Subwoofer
I bought this subwoofer 2 weeks ago and I love it. It's got a really deep bass and as it's on spikes it doesn't shake the whole room, I've got the cross-over set at 80 so it's just the really low bass it uses, leaving my Mission MX5s to play the rest of the frequency. Best buy I've made in a while, works well with my Denon avc-x4800h.

Superior sounding subwoofer with simplistic design
I bought the Q12 a week an ago to supplement my current starter HIFi system (currently only with bookshelf speakers). The model was selected with the intention of integrating it with a planned future system upgrade.
Placement was initially a challenge due to the size but it found a nice spot under a side table. The simplistic design enabled it to seamless blend with my setup instead of appearing as a odd furniture.
Integration to my system was quick and easy. Basic setup only needed the power cord, audio cable and the switches to default. The only control that was tweaked was the woofer volume.
My recommendation is to try various sounds/songs that one listens to and adjust the woofer volume according to your taste. I tried bass heavy dance/R&B music to marching/big bands to THX demos to the classics/Rat Pack.
Once setup is done, sit back and enjoy your setup and feel the smooth bass fill your room.
I would recommend this product.

Fantastic addition to Home Cinema
Decided on the Q B12 after reading reviews online and WhatHiFi. Despite being larger than my previous sub it has fitted in well and looks very smart. Handles both music and Movies with grace and power. Not overwhelming, just perfect and inline with my other components. Worth every penny, perfect!

Room filling sound
Awesome quality, sound quality is exceptional and doesn't distort at any volume I've played it at. Shakes the loose items of the house the way it should do, and I love it!

AMAZING sound, good size, defo worth buying
Purchased this subwoofer in December and honestly I love it so much. First of all the sales team were amazing like they always are here!
At first of course the subwoofer needs some time to wear in but when it does it transforms music and movies to the next level. I use it for all types of music whether it be R&B, New Jack Swing, Rap, Hip Hop, Bhangra, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Jungle, House, Latin, Grime, Garage and Drill and it performs on every genre. If you want to feel it in your chest no problem just turn it up and it can do it no problem. When it comes to movies this thing always performs and my mum tells me to turn it down when we watch a movie because i have it loud and she begins to feel sick due to the bass shaking her body.
Trust me this thing is loud and is quality, the price is amazing cannot argue one bit and I am looking to purchase another because why not!
