I was shocked that a power cable would make a difference but after a demonstration at the Southampton store back in July I purchased one for my CD player. The difference wasn't massive but I could instantly hear more detail in the voice of the singer. The voice was more realistic which made me then think if the voice is more realistic then the instruments most probably are to. The demo was done using the following, Cambridge CXC AND CXA81 playing through Monitor Audio Gold 100 speakers. Chord cables used throughout . .
