Product Information
”The Cyrus 40 AMP is everything we want in a modern Cyrus integrated amplifier. It’s well-built, fully equipped, looks smart and sounds excellent.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ – 5 Star review.

Versatile amp with the power to impress

Neat and compact, the Cyrus 40 AMP fits where others won’t. Power it up, however, and there’s a torrent of power that effortlessly copes with the most demanding music. Delivering an impressive 100 watts per channel (at 6 ohms), it’s one of the most powerful Cyrus integrated amps ever produced. Add the 40 PSU power supply and this increases to 113 watts. With its wide range of digital and analogue inputs, the 40 AMP is also supremely versatile, connecting everything from a turntable to a PC.

Digital inputs for a system upgrade
Connect any device with a digital output, such as a compatible CD player, network music streamer or games console and enjoy a great boost to the sound. Featuring a top quality ESS Sabre32 with HyperStream IV Dual DAC(Digital to Analogue Convertor) at its heart, this highly tuned technology achieves the highest level of precision, invigorating all your digital music.

Boost your TV’s sound
Although soundbars deliver a great boost to most TV’s internal speakers, connecting your TV to your hi-fi system has the potential to deliver even more. With the Cyrus 40 AMP featuring an HDMI eARC input, this is easier than ever. The input doesn’t just allow sound to run from your TV to amp but also facilitates single remote control use and other functionality.

The best in computer audio
As well as the optical, coaxial and HDMI digital inputs, there’s also an asynchronous USB input. This lets you connect your PC or Mac and access stored or streaming music in high resolution – right up to 32 bit/384kHz file sample rate.

Superior turntable input
A range of analogue inputs cater for analogue sources, such as a tuner, and digital devices without a digital output – such as some CD players. In addition to four RCA line inputs, the 40 AMP also comes with a high quality MM (Moving Magnet) turntable input. This low-noise design lets you get the best sound from your deck, without needing to add an extra phono pre-amp.

40 Series – a bold new style
The 40 Series represents a fresh contemporary style for Cyrus. The 40 AMP maintains the ‘half size’ case that’s been a Cyrus design signature since the ‘80s, but brings it bang up-to-date with a sleek contemporary style. Presented in a brushed and anodised aluminium finish, it instantly has a premium look and feel. A big step up from previous Cyrus products is the 5” hi-res colour screen with toughened glass panel. Combined with the capacitive touch controls it gives the 40 Series a sleek modern style with timeless elegance.

40 PSU port for the next step-up
As impressive as the 40 AMP is, it can be made even better by adding a 40 PSU power supply. Over the past three decades, Cyrus’s famous power supplies have been a ‘must have’ upgrade, and the latest 40 PSU is no different. Adding a 40 PSU provides s dedicated supply to the pre-amp section for a cleaner and more spacious sound. It also boosts the total power output by 13%, improving the dynamic response and the music’s depth.

Unify your system in style, with the Cyrus 40 AMP.

With its ‘Grand Class’ spec, the legend lives larger than ever, with the Technics SL1210G.

A legend in the home, studio and club
Developed as a turntable that was sturdy enough to be used professionally but simple and attractive enough to use at home, the Technics SL1210 was a hit from the beginning. Starting life in the early '70s, the SL1210 lived through five versions (in the UK) and, even at its demise in around 2010 was still seen by many as the reference deck for club use. Now it's back and, in G form, it's the best ever regular model!

The best SL1210 ever
The Technics SL1210 has always been superbly built but this is even better. Added to the existing three-layer chassis is a new, 10mm thick top panel, crafted from solid aluminium. This provides superior damping for a more dynamic sound. A newly developed, coreless motor is used to cut down on vibration with twin rotors providing high torque and an even load on the bearing. In short, the new SL1210G shouldn't just be the best-sounding but also the hardest wearing - with a weight of 18kg to prove it.

High spec magnesium tonearm
Unique to the top spec SL1210G is a magnesium tonearm (the standard models feature an aluminium one). Lightweight magnesium offers a high damping effect; quelling distortion. It’s also extremely rigid, helping the tonearm offer the most precise and detailed sound. High precision bearings and Technics’ gimbal suspension provide the smoothest tracking

Connect your own cables
Rather than using static cables, the SL1210G features brass-milled, gold-plated phono terminals. These let you choose your own length and quality of cable that's worthy of a deck of this capability.

Increased pitch control
A new 'x2' button lets you double the range of the pitch control from +/- 8% to +/-16%. This extra range makes it even more flexible as a mixing tool and even handier in the studio than ever.

Whether it's for use at home or earning its keep in clubs, the Technics SL1210G is simply the best of the best.

Combining mighty bass with effortless musical flow, the Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3 delivers a breathtaking performance.

Flagship performance
As the largest model in the 700 Series, the Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3 is perfect for both large room stereo and dynamic home cinema. No fewer than three Aerofoil bass cones give this top-of-the-range speaker the ability not just to dig deep but also to effortlessly sustain bass notes – whether they’re from a high impact action movie, full blown orchestra or stadium rock concert.

Mighty bass response
As the only model in the 700 Series to use three, dedicated bass cones, the 702 S3 produces bass that’s deep enough to rival an active subwoofer. Developed via CAD (Computer Aided Design), the 702 S3’s bass woofers use variable thickness cones for light weight and maximum rigidity where needed. The result is a fast, responsive bass that sticks to the beat like glue.

Mid-range realism
First developed for Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship 800-series, the Continuum woofer design plugs the gap between bass and treble with exceptional smoothness. The highly developed design helps deliver class-leading vocals that makes the singers sound as though they’re in the room with you. Not only that, rather than the mid-range standing aside from the rest of the music, it seamlessly blends in, further helping the ‘live music’ effect.

Iconic tweeter housing for the most spacious sound
Bowers and Wilkins’ separate tweeter housing has been a design signature of theirs for several decades now. The separate housing reduces top-end distortion and also helps promote a wider spread of sound, giving you a holographic, ‘reach in’ soundstage.

Hear pin-sharp detail with Carbon Dome tweeters
Purpose-built for the 700 Series, Carbon Dome tweeters elevate this speaker’s top-end detail. With a far higher breakup threshold than aluminium tweeters, they greatly reduce harmonic distortion, giving a natural purity to the highest frequencies that’s hard to beat.

Premium finish
Exquisitely crafted to the highest standards, the 700 Series upholds the tradition of Bowers & Wilkins' class-leading quality. Details include solid body tweeter housings that are milled from a single block of aluminium. The 702 S3 also comes with a bespoke plinth that uses aluminium feet for contrasting style as well as practical isolation. Available in a choice of Gloss Black, Satin White or Mocha, there’s a finish to suit your décor.

Hear your music and movies at their very best, with the Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3.

B&W 600 Series With its fully balanced technology, the Pro-Ject Phono Box S3 B takes vinyl replay to the top-end scale.

Fully balanced for the most vibrant detail
More usually found in studios and high-end hi-fi, balanced connections resist electrical interference from wi-fi, Bluetooth and many other invisible sources of harm. With the signal’s purity fully intact, you get to hear the most subtle nuances of detail, distortion free. The Phono Box S3 B not only features balanced circuity and outputs, but balanced inputs, too, ensuring you get to hear the full potential of a balanced design.

The perfect partner for Pro-Ject B turntables
For the Phono Box S3 B to be at its most effective, pair with a turntable that features a balanced output, such as Pro-ject’s own X1 B and X2 B models. Fit a Moving Coil cartridge and link the turntable via its mini XLR output and you’ll get to hear the full potential that balanced connectivity brings.

Adjusts to optimise your choice of cartridge
As well as being able to switch between XLR balanced and RCA phono non-balanced connections, the Phono Box S3 B offers a wide range of cartridge settings, ensuring you get the optimal match for your cartridge. Adjustable settings include input gain, capacitance and impedance. By optimising the sound from your specific cartridge, you'll discover a resolution and level of detail that might previously have been masked.

Switchable subsonic filter
With some speakers you might find subsonic noise causes a real problem. You’ll see the bass cones moving wildly as they struggle to reproduce inaudibly deep bass sounds. Cutting in below 20Hz, the subsonic filter protects the woofers from wear and tear and ensures the bass you do hear is less distorted.

High quality casing
Available in black or silver, the full metal casing offers rigidity and a high level of electrical shielding. This ensures that the delicate internal electronics are protected from both mechanical and electrical interference, helping to reduce sonic distortion. For a low resistance and long-lasting connection, all the phono sockets are gold-plated.

Cut out the distortion and hear more detail, with the Pro-Ject Phono Box S3 B.

Take your 40 series component to the next level, with the Cyrus 40 PSU.

Get a huge upgrade in sound quality from your Cyrus 40 product
Designed to connect to Cyrus 40 products, the Cyrus 40 PSU delivers a huge boost in performance. More of an essential than an accessory, this dedicated power supply not only boosts the power supply signal but also separates different elements and takes the strain away from the mains unit’s supply. The result is cleaner sound, reduced distortion, enhanced dynamics and lower noise – all from this one box.

Optimised configuration
The power supply requirements for a CD player are very different from that of an amp, which is why the 40 PSU has its own on-board micro-processor that communicates directly with the host device. This helps deliver the optimum configuration, with virtually noise-free power from a full range of digitally controlled voltage output levels. Compatible with the 40 AMP, 40 CD, 40 PPA and 40 ST models, this is a great way to upgrade your system’s performance, without having to replace the original components.

Independent power supplies for reduced distortion
With no fewer than five, independent power supplies built-in, the 40 PSU maximises your component’s full potential. One of the supplies is dedicated to digital circuitry while the other four supply the analogue circuits. These are split into two fixed and two variable voltage supplies, that are ideally matched to low and high voltage supplies, such as for a CD or streamer and amp.

40 Series – a bold new style
The 40 Series represents a fresh new style for Cyrus. The 40 PSU maintains the ‘half size’ case that’s been a Cyrus design signature since the ‘80s, but brings it bang up-to-date with a sleek contemporary style. Presented in a brushed and anodised aluminium finish, it instantly has a premium look and feel. The finish perfectly matches other Cyrus 40 series components, and because they’re half sized, sit side by side on a single hi-fi shelf.

Expand the music’s immersion, with the Cyrus 40 PSU.

Featuring a reference quality diamond for incredibly revealing sound, the Ortofon 2M Black is a match for some of the finest turntables.

Ultimate Moving Magnet sound quality

If you’re using a Moving Magnet phonostage then the Ortofon 2M Black is one of the finest cartridges you can buy. Suitable for decks costing right up to £2000 - £3000, the 2M Black can withstand many upgrades to the rest of your kit before it’s out of its depth. Its natural and musical sound lets you forget about the Hi-Fi and simply enjoy the music – exactly what all good Hi-Fi should do.

Top of the range – diamond performer
Standing at the top of Ortofon’s impressive 2M range, the 2M Black has an impressive spec to rival the best. Tipped with a Shibata diamond stylus, as used on the reference quality Ortofon MC Jubilee, the 2M Black offers a wide contact area with your vinyl. A wide contact area means deeper bass, more detail from the top end and less damage to your precious records.

Superior construction
Using a body made from Lexan DMX Piano Black, the 2M Black is extremely rigid while also eliminating unwanted resonances. This reduces distortion, bringing detail to the fore and promotes a more natural sound. Attention to detail extends to split pole pins with silver-plated capper wire – for the most musical transition of sound.

It’s a tiny part of your system but one that can make the biggest difference. To hear just how good your vinyl can sound, hook up with the Ortofon 2M Black.
