The Focal Aria Evo X N°1 speakers are best suited to high quality, stereo sound in small to medium-sized rooms. High efficiency means that they’re happy working with most premium mini systems, as well as lower powered hi-fi amps. They’re also ideal as satellite speakers within an Aria Evo X AV speaker system. With a range of stylish new finishes, the Aria Evo X stands out or blends in – the choice is yours.
Silky smooth top-end
Focal’s classic inverted dome tweeter features in these super-smooth sounding speakers. The latest TAM tweeter uses an M-shaped aluminium/magnesium dome for the smoothest harmonics and impressive detail. Combined with the specially contoured surround, it also helps in creating a wide diffusion angle, giving the music a true sense of realism and spaciousness.
Flax bass cones for a natural sound
Focal’s woofer unit is equally as innovative as the tweeter. Using flax and glass fibre hybrid construction, the cone is both light and rigid. The unique TMD cone surround acts as the perfect damper, allowing it to move freely while eliminating harmful vibrations. Swift to respond to the signal, the cone delivers a natural midrange and a tight, punchy bass response.
Rigid cabinet, with front port for flexible positioning
Featuring ultra-rigid, MDF construction, with curved side panels, the Aria Evo N°1’s cabinet strongly resists resonance. This helps keep the sound as neutral as possible. By placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the speakers can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out on sound quality. To get the very best from these speakers, we'd recommend placing them on good quality stands of around 50 - 60cm in height.
