No negatives found. Good music deserves these head
Bought these to replace a worn out pair if Dali phones. I listen to many genres of music and these don’t disappoint the recordings of orchestral majors or solo performers. Listening sessions are often 2 hours nonstop so comfort is also important I recently took them along to my optician when I was choosing new frames. Thes are light enough and firm enough to cope with times when specs or phones have to be removed in a hurry.

Worth the money
Build quality is good, noise cancelling is average , sound quality is very good for Bluetooth , lots of sparkle up top. Gets far better when used in dac mode but you don’t buy these if you want to use a wire. I have the clear MGs also, and they are much better sounding than the Bathys but cost double, so I believe for the money the Bathys are pretty much spot on.

Super sound with super comfort.
I listened to these headphones, along with other similar products, at Richer Sounds Leeds. These were the clear winners for me. Fantastic sound and extremely comfortable. I've used them every day for 2 weeks and the battery life is still at 60%.

I bought these headphones from Richer Sounds a few days ago and they’re the best that I’ve ever heard. It’s hard to believe that they’re wireless and Bluetooth. They’re very comfortable, too, possibly the most comfortable headphones I’ve owned and I can wear them all day without feeling weighty and hot. The build quality is up there with the best. All in all, even at £699, they’re a bargain!

A wonderful piece of kit, but, at almost 76 years old, I'm so grateful to Mark in the Exeter branch for writing down how to get started! This is my first day with the Bathys and I still have lots to discover. But, as a classical music enthusiast, I'm thrilled!

A great Bluetooth Headphone option
Before buying the Bathys I did my research, read and watched countless conflicting reviews. Torn between the PX8s, Bathys and the No. 5909s the only way was to try them in store. For me the Bathys had more musical drive and sounded far more fun. Maybe not as refined as the other two and with a slightly wider sound stage. My only two negatives is that the Bathys do leak far more sound and the noise canceling is pretty rubbish (my old Px's do better). On a side not on the 5909s when I used LDAC they came alive, but still lacked enough musicality to convince me.

Thanks Richer Sounds, I have been looking for HI Res Headphones. I had not heard of Focal Bathys unitl I visited their store in Guildford. Dire Straits is always a classic to listen to and sound great through the Bathys
