Based on the original limited edition Hemp headphones, the Hemp Classic is now a permanent fixture in the Grado range. Constructed from bi-wood hemp and maple, the driver housings contribute a unique sonic signature. Tonal warmth and natural damping ensure a musical presentation that’s warm, weighty and engaging.
New X2 driver
The Classic generation of the Hemp gets the latest X2 Series drivers for improved consistency, control, and refinement. Built around a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil and rare earth magnetic system, they’re easy to drive yet also fast-paced, articulate and focused, making them ideal for use at home or on the move.
Signature Silver cable
Supplied with Grado’s Signature Silver cable in a fixed configuration, the wired connection is durable, resistant to interference and provides a low resistance link for sparkling sound. With reduced weight and improved flexibility compared with earlier designs, it’s more comfortable in use.
Signature Silver leather headband
The Hemp Classic also features the Signature Silver headband assembly. Developed from the Signature Gold system, the refined mechanism delivers improved geometry and controlled rotation. A genuine leather headband with contrasting white stitching enhances the style and feel, while the internal steel spring band allows listeners to easily adjust clamping pressure.
