Effective at neutralising static charges on virtually any surface without the need of sprays. The Zerostat 3 is highly rated for its ability to improve the sound quality of records and CDs by removing static. The Zerostat 3 incorporates a unique Piezo Crystal device which generates a positive electrical charge of ions with one gentle squeeze of the trigger, and a negative charge on release of the trigger so cancelling the charges on the disc. Constructed from durable hard plastic, it requires no batteries or refills and is a long lasting alternative to cleaning brushes.

Magically Zaps them cracks & pops away
I ordered the Milty Zerostat 3 online and got a call a few days later from Richer Sounds sales department who went through the special order process with me and received it 2 days later.
I deliberated on buying the Milty Zerostat 3 for months after buying a wet record cleaner system, and carbon brush & a Cork 'non' slip mat and still having issues with static. I watched all the YouTube videos, read loads of reviews about it as the price - well the price is what it is. When I received it I put it to a very tough test on a second hand record I bought that was meant to be VG+ but I would of said F or G- at best, it was like it was played by a DJ and a kids birthday party where he taught scratch after eating jam sandwiches and sticky cake in the middle of a thunderstorm. I got the record clean with my cleaner but the static made the record sound so bad it was unplayable and the Cork slip mat would stick to it!!!.
A prefect example to try this magical anti static which craft on. and OH MY DAYS it works the static pops and crack gone after one use the record still had flaws but that is because of the misuse of the record in the pass, used on a brand new record there are cracks, pop's or distortion from the record.
I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing it over again as I know my records are clean but living in a country with around 80% humidity and close to sea level Static will always be a problem and the the Milty Zerostat 3 is a very useful tool in the Anti static arsenal. If you are comfortable with the price. TBH I can not remember how much I paid now as it's that good.

Mitty anti static gun is a must for vinyl lovers
This is a great product for vinyl lovers. One zap with this anti static gun reduces static instantly and you can hear the results when you play your records, the pops and clicks are reduced considerably. I would recommend this product. It breathes new life into old and new vinyl.

Does what it says on the tin
Remembered this little gun from the 70's, yes they've been around that long. Used along with dedicated anti-static liners, brilliant at keeping nasty static at bay on your precious vinyl. Only gripe is how much they cost.

Milty Zerostat 3
Purchased through Richer Sounds Cardiff about a week ago and over all very pleased, played a new vinyl record first without the Zerostat 3 and you could hear the static pops, then played the same record with the Zerostat 3 and noticed a distinct difference, if you play old dirty or scratched records without first cleaning then the difference may not be so noticable, but for £50.00 you really cant go wrong !.

clears static discharge from vinyl records
this milty antistatic gun will clear static charge from your records but it will not prevent static from building up again later so you need to use anti-static inner sleeves to store your albums, note you should be doing this anyway. quick and easy to use.
sometimes if you have heavy weight vinyl ie 220 grams you may need to zap your album twice to completely clear any charge.
also if you are using a felt mat on your turntable this will again charge up your album when you lift your album from the platter, so you will need an anti-static mat.
if you use an antistatic cleaning fluid this gives a superior antistatic coating to your albums and this will not recharge, but if you don't want to use chemicals then this gadget is your best bet.
