Natural Oak with Black Felt for a more dimensional appearance
Matching natural oak with a black felt backing gives this SlatWall the perfect balance of warmth and visual ‘pop’. Natural oak is a classic finish that adds warmth and lightness to your room. Using a darker backing highlights the natural oak finish, framing each slat and giving an enhanced three-dimensional appearance. The matte finish has low reflective levels, making it ideal for TV and projector home cinema rooms.
Acoustic damping for enhanced sound
Thanks to its slatted design and felt backing, the SlatWall improves your room’s acoustics. The slatted finish helps break up acoustic standing waves in the room, promoting a smoother, more focused sound. The felt backing helps absorb and dampen the sound, smoothing out rough edges and making the sound more pleasant to listen to for longer sessions. Using acoustic panelling means that the use of other soft materials in the room, such as carpets and curtains, are less important, giving you the flexibility to spec hard floors and blinds, with far less of a sonic downside.
Modular
Each of these SlatWall panels measures 240cm high by 60cm wide. You can use any combination of panels to cover everything from a chimneybreast feature to an entire room. Mix different wood finishes for a stylish duotone finish.
Easy to fit
For a perfect fit, simply cut the panel with a fine-toothed handsaw. The panels fit to the wall using either grab adhesive or screws (black-headed, 35 x 3.5mm screws recommended). For additional sound installation, mount the panels on batons, using further sound isolation material between the panel and wall.
