The Axign Class D amplifier, equipped with a MOS FET output stage delivers an impressive 125 watts per channel with 8 ohm speakers. This doubles to a heady 250 watts per channel with 4 ohm speakers. Whatever speakers you use, the Muse Y-50 has the control and authority to bring out their full potential.

More than simply a powerhouse, the Muse Y-50 delivers sonic precision. The full digital circuit includes a premium quality DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter), ensuring the most accurate and low loss sound possible. Despite its compact size, the amp’s fan-less cooling ensures there’s no distracting noise, even after extended listening.
Onkyo Room EQ for sound tailored to your room
Featuring proprietary Onkyo Room EQ, the Muse Y-50 can be calibrated to best suit your room’s acoustics. Specifically developed for the Muse Series, the Room EQ measures the listening environment and then optimises the sound field for the best-balanced audio. The result is natural, lifelike sound, however your room is furnished and whatever its size.

Stream it your way – AirPlay 2, Google cast, Bluetooth and more
No matter how you choose to stream music, the Muse Y-50 is ready to serve. Built-in wi-fi ensures easy streaming via Apple (AirPlay 2) and Android/Google (Google Cast) devices. This premium Onkyo amp is also compatible with Roon, making it easy to integrate into a Hi-Res multiroom system. For quick and easy wireless playback, there’s also Bluetooth connectivity.
HDMI interface for AV excellence
An array of connectivity makes it easy to plug in your AV system. For your TV, there’s an HDMI ARC socket, with a further HDMI input that’s ideal for connecting a games console, Blu-ray player or set-top TV box. There are also digital coaxial and optical inputs for more expansive AV systems.

With its switchable MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) phono pre-amp, you can connect all types of turntables, without needing additional boxes. For other music sources, such as a CD player, there are three line level inputs. At the front of the amp you’ll find a USB-A socket – ideal for connecting a USB media device and playing back stored audio files.
