A great little streaming device
The most important thing to realise, if you plan to purchase this device, is that the output is digital (either through an optical or coaxial connection) and therefore you'll need an amplifier with a DAC or an external DAC.
I have an Audiolab 6000A (also bought at Richer Sounds), which has an internal DAC, so attaching the NP5 was very easy.
Setup (attaching to the local network via WiFi) was through Google Home and is also relatively easy. The WiFi connection is very stable so far, despite coming from the Sky Hub used for Sky Q. The device provides a Chromecast connection to stream music from most Streaming Services (I use Spotify), but I also use MediaMonkey to play my music library and that Casts to the NP5 very effectively.
The device is remarkably small and fits above my amp (in the picture you can just make out the lights on top of the NP5). So far I've had no problems with it, but I've only tried a few Internet radio stations so far - there are hundreds available!
