This page is intended to demonstrate the incredible value of our 6 Year Supercare. Under recent legislation, we are obliged to point out that you obviously do not need to purchase an extended warranty at the same time you purchase your electrical goods and are entitled to shop around. We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:

Free loan machine (Subject to availability. Only if taken back to store)
Should you encounter a problem, just ask and you'll be provided with a unit to ensure you're not without music whilst your equipment is being fixed.

Like for like machine if unit is unrepairable
If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.

Free routine service / Maintenance checks
have your unit serviced as often as you wish, free of charge, during the 6 year period. (Normally excluded from extended guarantees).

45 day cooling off period
If you're not happy with our 6 Year Supercare package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.

If you use the policy in the 6 years, you'll have saved yourself tens and perhaps hundreds of pounds. If you don't use it... IT WON'T COST YOU A THING!*

* Simply return your unused Supercare policy within one month of the expiration date, and we'll refund the price of your warranty.

Immerse yourself in sound, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X*

Dolby Atmos uses ceiling or upwards firing speakers to produce a multi-dimensional, immersive sound that's a match for the finest cinemas. DTS:X literally pushes the boundaries of what you can expect from home cinema. This highly sophisticated processor renders images in three dimensions that conventional processing can't match. It also offers other advantages such as the ability to boost the spatial effect of conventional DTS and easily adapts with your existing speaker configuration.

Optimised for 4K UHD and HDR
The AVRX2300W features the latest HDMI connections and supports HDCP 2.2, HDR and BT.2020, which means you can play UHD Blu-ray discs and stream UltraHD video. It's also equipped with 4K upscaling, giving you the most detailed picture on your 4K TV from all sources. The HDMI sockets allow 4K pass-through, for hassle free switching and viewing without the receiver needing to be turned on.

High-Resolution audio compatible
As well as offering an intense movie experience, the Denon AVR-X2300W is also compatible with High-Resolution Audio. This offers a sound that's far more natural sounding than standard audio. The Denon AVRX2300W supports a wide range of HiRes format files including DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), FLAC, ALEC, AIFF and WAV. It even supports gapless playback for music free from glitches.

Denon 2016 AVR Remote
Available for Apple iOS, Android and Kindle Fire, the latest Denon control app is better than ever. It gives speedy access to the receiver's controls as well as the set-up menu. It also offers quick access to the receiver's status display, option menus and will even control a Denon Blu-ray player. You can load up an online owner's manual for your convenience, while the new queue management feature means you can browse and add new tracks to the playlist on the go.

Bluetooth, AirPlay, DLNA and built-in wi-fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay connectivity it's easy to connect up all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The AVRX2300W also comes with Wi-Fi, Internet radio and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via vTuner as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect. DLNA 1.5 compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.

All the connections you need including 8 HDMI inputs and dual outputs
With no fewer than eight HDMI inputs (including one at the front), the AVRX2300W has all your connection needs covered. The AVR-X2300W comes with twin HDMI outputs - ideal for running both a TV and projector, for example. An iOS compatible USB connection is standard. This allows plug-and-play flexibility without the need for a docking station. Finally, for music in another room, you can choose from active or passive Zone 2 outputs.

Easy to use with Quick Select
With four Quick Select Function buttons you can access not just a regular source quickly but also all its dedicated settings - at the touch of a single button. You can even add your favourite Internet radio station for rapid access to radio.

Audyssey Silver - making set-up precise and simple
Featuring the Audyssey Silver suite of DSP (Digital Sound Processing) functions, the AVRX2300W can be set-up with precison. The Silver suite includes Audyssey's MultEQ XT technology. The XT version of this automatic measuring and set-up device features extra modes and offers the option to measure from eight points for super-accurate room measuring.

Maximise both your music and movies, with the Denon AVR-X2300W.

*DTS-X available via future firmware update from Denon.

DENON AVRX2300W is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 143.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRILLIANT AMPLIFIER FOR DUMMYS I'm really not that technical when it comes to audio equipment. I rely heavily on the advice I am given and simplicity of the equipment I buy. The set up wizard for this machine is so intuitive. Within an hour I had set up everything correctly and configured my speakers for audio perfection. Its very much a "less is more" brilliant amplifier. I also like the remote control which is much sleeker than other amplifier remotes I have used before My only criticism is that it does not have any graphic equalizer defaults which you can apply e.g. 'ROCK', 'JAZZ'. 'POP' etc. For listening to music . Also, and this might actually be a problem with my machine. I have noticed on a few occasions when I press the power button on the remote that rather than turn off it instead turns off / on Zone 2 as if the buttons have been reprogrammed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forget Soundbars with Bluetooth This is a great AVR so easy to set up using the TV screen. Sound and connectivity is superb. Thanks to the professional guys in Richer Sounds Chester, despite it being really busy they offered a great service and advice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 4k set up Bought this as my Onkyo was getting a bit long in the tooth. Needed a home cinema receiver that was going to take care of all my 4k needs. This Denon 2300 ticks all those boxes. Drives my Tannoy Mercury V1s and Q Acoustics with real dynamism and clarity. It's gave me a much more rich and room filling sound. Great with its internet connectivity so no hassle on the firmware updates. Seven 4K HDMI pass through compliant connections and two out to cater for the most demanding set ups, clear and simple menu system without too much fuss. Staff at Richer Sounds Leicester were fantastic and always give clear concise advice. Overall very happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing is perfect, but this goes a long way towards it. Eight hdmi inputs and good software to ease setup. Careful matching of sources to get the best of this little beauty. I use it with FMJ UDP411, plus aVirgin box, Humax Freesat. The most pleasant surprise was when I plugged in the A&K jnr. Play lists on my TV and the sound was fantastic, hi definition and even MP3 sounded good.. This is a product where the end user has been given priority over the geeks who put this together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality product from Denon and an excellent replacement for my old AV1706 (now I have HDMI connectivity and 4k upscaling - yay!!) Great piece of kit. Moved house recently and was able to convince my wife that an upgrade to the amp would be a good move. Apple streaming from our iPhones is excellent; sound is phenomenal and the HDMI pass-through feature works brilliantly with Sky-Q and our son's Playstation 4.5. Only using a 5.1 configuration at present, but very happy. Am waiting to convince the boss that we need additional speakers, to take full advantage of the amp, however that is work in progress...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Amp for the price Replaced my aging 4306 with this amp with trepidation. No need the amp is awesome not as rich sound as my old one but nether the less great. Easy to set up and very easy to use well done Denon again FANTASTIC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Atmos that doesn't cost the earth Bought this as my previous amp would not allow 4k signals so decided to go down the Atmos route. Kieran at the Reading store could not rate this high enough when I gave him my requirements. A fantastic upgrade at a relatively low cost.
Date published: 2017-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, plenty of set up options Great sound, even at low levels, lots of options to get the sound to your preference, easy to set up.
