With an incredible 48 inputs, spread across a range of audio connection types, and 16 outputs (analogue and digital), the Pulse Eight ProAudio 16 easily copes with the most sophisticated multiroom audio systems. Each zone also has individual tuning plus there’s subwoofer control, auto audio conversion, lip sync delay and more.
48 audio inputs
With a mind-boggling 48 inputs, you’re unlikely to ever run out of connection input sockets. The inputs are divided between 16 analogue RCA phono pairs, 16 coaxial digital and 16 optical digital.
16 analogue and 16 digital audio outputs
For superb flexibility, the ProAudio 16 also offers 16 analogue RCA phono outputs and 16 digital coaxial outs. These connect to active speakers (analogue or digital), amplifiers, AVRs, mixers or any other source with either a RCA phono or coaxial digital input.
Lock zones together
Zone lock lets you group zones together, making it possible to select a number of outputs to play from the same input source – perfect for parties.
Auto audio conversion for seamless operation
With so many different digital and analogue inputs, it’s great to know that the ProAudio16 automatically converts every input signal (analogue, coaxial and optical) to an analogue signal.
5-band graphic equaliser on each zone
For fully customised sound, each zone not only has its own volume, bass and treble settings, but also a 5-band graphic equaliser, too.
Adjustable gain on each input
Making sure that you have an even volume level when switching between sources, each input has a separate gain control. The wide range in gain adjustment brings even the quietest sources into line with the other inputs.
Subwoofer control
Featuring low and high pass filters (adjustable from 50Hz to 300Hz) with Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley filters, the ProAudio 16 is compatible with a wide range of subwoofers.
Simple control
KISS (Keep It Simple Serial) control is one of the easiest to use serial port protocols on the market. Available through the TCP/IP port or RS-232 interface it allows for extensive, bi-directional control.
Lip sync delay
With so much audio moving about, lip sync can be issue when video signals are involved, too. Each ProAudio system provides up to 170ms of lip sync delay, for the best match possible.
