A complete system – within a pair of speakers
Featuring fully active speakers, the Q Active 200s are ready to go – no amp required. Much more than this, the supplied hub lets you stream music via GoogleCast, Apple AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth. There are also input connections for a TV, games console and even a turntable. Topping it all off, the Q Active 200 speakers can also be used as part of a multiroom system.
Fully active speakers for sonic precision
Whereas most active speakers use just one or two amplifiers per pair, the Q Active 200 has one per drive unit. That means a total of six separate amplifiers, for outstanding control and precision. With a total output power of 280 watts, the Q Active 200 delivers effortless, room-filling sound.

Using twin BMR (Balanced Mode Radiators) drive units per speaker, the Q Active 200 speakers give pinpoint accuracy and an incredibly broad sound for ‘widescreen’ staging. BMR technology combines the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers, so they sound brilliantly detailed but don't turn harsh or brittle when the sound gets intense.
Powerful bass
At the rear of the speakers you’ll find built-in subwoofers. Learning from Q Acoustics huge experience with dedicated subwoofers, the bass is only there when it needs to be but, when it is, clearly makes its presence felt. Actively controlled by dedicated amps, the bass is always exceptionally tight and tuneful, giving your music the bounce it deserves. For even more bass, simply add your choice of active subwoofer via the dedicated sub output.
The hub of your streaming music
Much more than just a pair of active speakers, the Q Active 200s are the hub of your system. With Google Chromecast built-in, you get access to a huge range of wireless music streaming options. Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Qobuz, Spotify and TIDAL are all available. UPnP connectivity makes it easy to link up with your digital music files and stream from your NAS drive, laptop or home computer.
The centre of your home entertainment
As well as streaming, the hub facilitates the connection of other sources. Connect your TV via the HDMI and your Blu-ray or games console using the optical input for home cinema sound. The switchable RCA phono input works with either a turntable (MM cartridge) or a line level source, such as a CD player.
Part of a multiroom system
With a choice of Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Roon, it’s easy to make the Q Active 200 part of your multiroom system. Play the same track around your home or split via zones, with the Q Active 200, choice is the key ingredient.
Control your way
With Chromecast built-in, using voice command via Google is easy. Simply talk to your Google Home app on your smartphone or control via a Google Home device within your network. The hub is also compatible Apple Siri smart speakers, for voice command via Siri. You can also control the speakers via your favourite streaming music app or by the supplied remote control.
