The Quad Artera Solus Play has everything you need, in a stylish, one-box system. With DTS Play-Fi built-in, you get seamless music streaming and multi-room potential. The built-in CD player is ideal for your cherished disc collection. The DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) provides digital connectivity for a host of sources, via USB, optical and coaxial. There are analogue inputs for older sources and outputs, including XLR balanced, too. Direct streaming from your smartphone or other device is also possible, thanks to the Bluetooth link. CD player built-in
With a CD player built-in, you don’t have to worry about ripping and storing your existing CD collection. The slot-loaded transport with digital buffer, offers high quality and reliable disc playback. Connected to the built-in ESS ES9018 Sabre32 Reference DAC, you get exceptionally detailed and dynamic sound from your CDs, helping them sound the best they can be.
Playback your Hi-Res music files
The built-in Sabre32 Reference DAC also means that the Artera Solus Play effortlessly handles your hi-res music files, too. Use the USB digital input and the Artera Solus Play decodes right up to studio quality 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256. With the optical and coaxial inputs, the hi-res music capacity is a still impressive 24-bit/192kHz – the usual standard for most hi-res music files.

With decades of top quality audio experience, the Quad Artera Solus Play sounds the thoroughbred it is. With a high quality toroidal transformer and high output capacitors at its heart, the Artera Solus Play delivers an impressive 75 watts per channel (at 8 ohms). The also incorporates audiophile features, such as balanced design, short signal paths, independent, low-noise power supplies and high quality components used in critical areas. Digital connectivity

Bluetooth for direct, wireless connection
For direct wireless streaming, the Quad system also comes with built-in Bluetooth. Compatible with aptX, the Artera Solus Play offers the potential for high quality Bluetooth streaming. Simply pair with your smartphone, tablet or other device and stream your stored music and favourite music services, such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music – without needing a wi-fi signal.

With its pre-amp outputs, you can also connect a more powerful, larger power amp, should you choose.
