Scandinavian design forces combine
As a dedicated, standalone Bluetooth speaker, the Tangent Spectrum Square strikes a quirky and distinctive style. Taking speaker design to the next level, however, Tangent have partnered with fellow Scandinavian company, IKEA, for seamless integration with its Kallax and Expedit furniture. This means that you get brilliant sound quality without compromising on clean, sleek aesthetics.
Balanced sound – even against a wall
Carefully designed to suit its surroundings, the Spectrum Square uses front bass ports. This means that the sound isn’t compromised when the speaker is placed inside a furniture unit or against a rear wall.
Smooth and detailed sound quality
Equipped with high quality, silk dome tweeters, the Spectrum Square produces a smooth yet detailed top-end response. The woofer units deliver lifelike vocals and an upbeat, fast-paced bass response for thrilling sound.
Double up for true stereo sound
For an even more immersive sound, that’s closer to the original recording, use two Spectrum Square speakers. Wirelessly connected via the TWS (True Wireless Stereo) system, two speakers give greatly improved sound staging, with individual instruments and vocalists clearly separated and given their own ‘space’ within the mix.
Powerful bass response
A built-in 60 watt amplifier and capacious cabinet means that the bass response is deeper and more powerful than the average Bluetooth speaker. If you want a deeper response at lower volumes, switch to the Loudness DSP mode, which is ideal for enhanced bass presence.
Bluetooth and AUX-In
For seamless music playback, simply connect your smartphone, tablet or computer via the Bluetooth connection. Bluetooth is the default setting, meaning that every time the speaker is switched back on, it synchronises with the previous device. For other devices, the Spectrum Square also has a 3.5mm AUX input at the rear of the cabinet – perfect for connecting your TV or CD player.
Change the grille colour to suit
Supplied with grey and black speaker grilles, you can change the style between lighter and darker aesthetics for a style that best suits your room. Other colours are available at additional cost.
