Engineered entirely within the analogue domain, the Teac HA-507 is a high-precision headphone and pre-amp of exceptional sonic precision. Fully balanced for both headphone outs and pre-amp outputs/inputs, it delivers breathtaking detail and ultra-low levels of distortion. As part of the Reference 500 system it’s also the perfect starting point for building a premium quality system that’s compact in size yet big on ability.
Analogue pre-amp
With two XLR balanced and two RCA phono inputs, the HA-507 operates as an effective stereo pre-amplifier. Perfect for connecting a phono pre-amp, high-end CD player, network music player or other music source, these inputs allow you to use this Teac as a complete pre-amp. Simply connect to a power amp (ideally to the AP-507) or active speakers, via RCA phono or XLR balanced outputs and your system’s complete.

More than just a stereo pre-amp, the HA-507 is also a highly effective headphone amp. With no fewer than four different outputs – XLR 4-pin, 4.4mm, 6.3mm and 3.5mm – it’s fully compatible with almost every pair of wired headphones on the market. The balanced design ensures an ultra-quiet background, letting you hear every nuance of musical detail. The powerful output, with three gain settings, suits all types of headphones, including high-impedance designs that can cause issues for some headphone amps.
