Despite their immersive sound, the narrow width and range of stylish finishes means that they blend effortlessly with your décor.
Twin woofers, dedicated to bass
Just like the Corinium model, the AE320² has twin woofers that are dedicated to bass. These produce a bottom end response with power and control in equal measure. Deep enough to drive the bassiest soundtracks, the lowest notes land with impact, giving the pacey sound that Acoustic Energy is famous for – just with more depth than ever.
Slot port for tightly controlled bass
With bass depth that matches many subwoofers, it’s important for the AE320² to maintain tight control and to avoid an overblown and distorted bottom-end response. A slot-shaped duct at the rear controls airflow, reducing turbulence for a smooth and tight bass. This helps integrate the bass with the rest of the mix, giving a seamless flow of sound from the lowest to the highest notes.
Dedicated mid-range for vocal clarity
As a 3-way speaker, the AE320² uses a dedicated woofer, just for mid-range. With a single drive unit handling the mid-range, you get greater vocal detail and clarity. Other instruments in the mid-range, such as piano and guitar also benefit from enhanced resolution. Using a brand-new paper and coconut fibre cone, the driver is swift to respond, giving you excellent pace and timing for foot-tapping rhythm.

Developed from the Corinium project, the new soft dome tweeter strikes the ideal balance between detail and refinement. Like the mid-range unit, it’s fast and dynamic in its response, yet still smooth and highly controlled, giving you the best of all worlds. Enhanced by the latest WDT waveguide, it delivers a wide listening sweet spot, for easier room placement.
Choice of finishes
With curved edges, flush fitting drivers and a magnetically attached grille, these stylish speakers are easy on the eye. Available in choice of matte black, matte white or walnut vinyl finishes, the AE320² complements your room’s décor and any other existing AE300-series speakers you might have around the room within a home cinema speaker system.

The slimline cabinets don’t just look good, their solid build helps reduce distortion, too. The 18mm thick MDF/bitumen cabinets provide an inert enclosure for the drivers, meaning that you get to hear pure, undistorted sound, without colouration from the cabinet walls.
