Great sound, smooth but detailed.
First I got the 6000A play, which sounded great, but the streaming app wasn't great and after about 3 days all of the digital inputs failed. There was no issue getting a full refund from richer sounds, and as I was so impressed with the amplifier I thought I would try the 6000A.
This replaces a Cambridge CXA60 and is paired with some Monitor Audio Silver 50 speakers and a Rel Tzero mkiii. The sound is great, being both detailed and smoother than the Cambridge. The display on the front is very useful, but is almost invisible in bright light. There is a good selection of inputs including a very good phono stage. Overall I'm very happy with this amp.

I've had the 6000a with CD transport for around a month now and enjoy the added bass and soundstage

Replacement of Hi Fi System.
I wanted to replace an old Hi Fi system and needed up to date information. I received excellent advice from the Norwich representative. Set up instructions were clear and I am delighted with the result. I highly recommend all aspects of Richer Sounds customer service.

An excellent buy!
The Audiolab replaced a twenty year old NAD C350 which is a powerful amp and had never given me a problem but I had always felt was a little lacking in clarity. I chose the Audiolab because of a good review from a Reviewer that I trusted. I wasn't disappointed, the Audiolab has terrific detail and clarity throughout the audio spectrum. I play all sorts of Rock, Pop, Jazz and Classical music and the Audiolab is great with all of them.

Does what I expected and more
Bought to replace the amp. and speakers that are by no means rubbish. Richard at the Cheltenham Store couldn't have been more helpful in auditioning different speakers with the 6000a. Never once did he give the slightest hint of impatience with a silly old git who knows how music should sound but is not very genned up on how to achieve it.
Now I've got it set-up at home I'm delighted with the result.

Effortless sound reproduction.
I went to Richer Sounds to replace an old Technics 100x5 amplifier. The staff could not have been more helpful and for a sweet top range they recommended the Audiolab. This drives my Celestion Ditton 44s effortlessly and even at low volumes the sound is still full. I was concerned that the speakers might need more power but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Great sound
I purchased the Audiolab 6000a, Audiolab 6000cdt a few days ago from the Exeter branch. What a fantastic amplifier, and in combination with the 6000cdt the sound is quite frankly awesome.
