Ideal all-rounders
Large enough to fill a small to medium-sized room with rich, powerful sound but not so large that they dominate it, the Spektor 2 speakers are the ideal stereo speakers for many rooms. Their larger size also means they suit a wider range of music than the smaller Spektor 1 model.

Amazing quality… perfect for my set up

Amazing improvement
Decided to start upgrading my old Hi Fi system and new that Richer Sounds in Bath would be the place to start.
I took the manual from my current system and gave it to the sales person. He helped me choose the perfect speakers as a start to upgrade. The improvement in sound was amazing even using my 20 Yr old amplifier.
Can't wait to purchase a new amplifier to move forward with my upgraded system.

Good price, great sound.
Bought these as an upgrade from Wharfedale Diamond 9s. I use them with a Tibo amp and an ancient Rega P3 turntable. The sound quality difference is immediately noticeable, and I’ve been able to turn my subwoofer right down - might even be able to turn it off for some types of music. They look great too. Really pleased with them.

Exactly what we wanted! sound is awesome
Great help from Mark from Exeter store. Listened to our requirements and combined a refurbished AVR with these speakers. We have a relatively small living room and wanted to stream as well as play through TV as a result removing the sound bar. Crackin result exactly what we were looking for. Great customer service.

Nothing Surrealist about these Speakers.
Richer Sounds were out of stock of my chosen speakers. After research, I settled on these. They are paired with a good Denon amplifier and replaced another decent pair of speakers. The fact that they used the same terminal posts was a good omen.
I have only listened for a short while, but they are good. At one point I thought there was something going wrong with the speakers. However, they are detailed enough in the mid range to hear a speaker turn slightly away from the microphone. That would have been lost on the previous speakers.
They are used in a smallish room and appear to be at least as sensitive as the previous speakers. The amplifier is good, but not particularly powerful. The frequency response seems flat and lacking in resonances. On voice, they are natural, but detailed. It's the sort of performance I get from my studio monitors.
On music they are very good. With the previous speakers there was a good sound stage with stable stereo images. With these speakers, the speakers seem to vanish. String bass is strong, clear and lacking boominess. Mids and highs are all there, but with no emphasis of parts of the range.
Singers' performances are presented with the sort of detail that reveals nuances lost with the previous speakers.
If all this gives the impression of a clinical studio monitor performance, lacking in joy, think again. Studios would never get any work done with these speakers: the music is too engaging.

Still running in
Bought the Dali Spektor 2 yesterday and at the moment I am still running them in, so no firm conclusions as yet, but they seem okay with better bass than I thought they would have ..no need for a separate bass speaker. Time will tell as I get used to the sound. As usual, the Glasgow staff were excellent and a little discount to swing the deal ..it's all good.
