HEOS Drive delivers four zones of streaming music to get you started on a top quality multiroom system. Built-in amplification means that you can use your choice of speakers within each room. Control via the award-winning HEOS system lets you effortlessly control the music from anywhere in your home. For the best sound quality possible, HEOS is also compatible with Hi-Res music files.
Punchy sound
Rated at 60 watts per channel into each of the eight channels (four stereo zones), you get smooth, room-filling sound all around your home. For more power, the channels can be bridged, giving you up to 130 watts within two zones. For more zones simple add extra HEOS Drives. Equipped to handle virtually any combination of speaker configurations, HEOS Drive features built-in DSP high pass/low pass filters - set any output to full range, subwoofer or satellite speaker modes, with adjustable crossover points.
Configure the connections to suit you
Each zone features a stereo pair of pre-amp outputs, and can be configured for stereo or mixed mono output. The matrix switching system features two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, plus four stereo inputs, any of which can be assigned to any zone. Every zone features a dedicated USB port for connection to an external USB drive.

Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest homes are covered for multi-room music. Alternatively, for a rock solid wired connection, you can make use of the Ethernet socket that's standard on all HEOS speaker systems.
Effortless control from your smartphone or tablet
Once you've set up the HEOS systems, controlling them is simple with the free HEOS app. This user-friendly app uses three main tabs that feature at all times - Rooms, Music and Now Playing. Rooms allows individual control of the music being played in a particular room. You can see what music is playing where, from anywhere around your home. For an instant 'party mode' simply 'pinch' the zones together and get up to eight speaker zones, all playing the same music at once.
The Music tab selects the streaming music service or stored music on either your device or a remote device connected via the DLNA network. This means you should be able to access pretty much all the digitally stored music available in your home. Now playing gives you artist, title and track timer information, plus it lets you control the master volume and also view the music queue.

The HEOS system boasts class-leading compatibility. Enjoy Spotify, Amazon Music HD, TIDAL, Deezer, Internet radio via TuneIn and more. Supported music files include MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and WAV, making it compatible with just about all stored music libraries. The Link HS2 model is now also compatible with High Resolution music files in FLAC, WAV and ALAC formats.
