A powerful classic
Ideal for retro style and modern sound, in medium-sized rooms, the JBL L82 Classic MKII speakers are a classic by name and nature. With 8 inch woofers, they deliver the effortlessly punchy sound that’s a signature of JBL. Thanks to the premium components, the sound is delivered with clarity and precision, making these speakers supreme all-rounders.
Bright top-end response that cuts through
Featuring titanium dome tweeters, the L82 Classic MKII deliver top end clarity and detail that cuts through. The tweeters are also equipped with acoustic lens waveguides that help spread the sound wider and integrate it smoothly with the midrange.
Adjustable high-frequency control
If the top end isn’t to your taste, you can tune the sound via the high-frequency level attenuator. Easily accessed via a control dial on the front of the speakers, this dials up or down the top end for a brighter or smoother response.
Powerful bass and midband presence
Equipped with an 8 inch woofer, the L82 Classic MKII delivers deep, punchy bass. Featuring ribbed cones, fitted to a cast frame, they also excel in accuracy, ensuring bass texture and realism to match the power and depth. Midrange vocals and instruments are portrayed with presence, pushed well out into the room for a lifelike feeling of being ‘there’.
Premium speaker terminals with bi-wiring option
Gold-plated speaker cable terminals provide a low resistance connection for your speaker cable or 4mm banana plugs. The bi-wirable terminals let you run separate cables to the bass/mid and treble or, better still, use two power amps for outstanding speaker control.
Rigid cabinet, with real wood veneer finish
Solidly built and reinforced to resist vibration, the L82 Classic MKII’s cabinets provide the perfect support for the drivers to work, without cabinet colouration. For a sleek and room-friendly aesthetic, they’re finished in a high quality, satin wood veneer.
Choice of classic Quadrex foam grille colours
For that final retro flourish, the L82 Classic MKII speakers are supplied with authentic Quadrex foam grilles. Choose from black, blue or orange colourways for a design that’s as discreet or bold as you require.
Optional stands (sold separately)
