Combining a top quality headphone amp and DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the Luxsin X8 delivers a scintillating performance through your headphones and hi-fi system. With its powerful amp and balanced output, it drives a wide range of models and, thanks to AI and a powerful DSP, optimises the sound from each and every one of them. The innovative DAC uses a multi-chip device for stunning sound, with ultra-low distortion and brilliant detail.
Outstanding DAC performance
At the heart of this innovative device are no fewer than eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs. Implemented in a dual mono configuration, there are four DACs for each channel, with fully independent circuits and power supplies. The sophisticated design reduces noise and improves dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, and low-level detail, resulting in outstanding precision.
Shielding for ultra-low distortion
Each of the eight DACs features a custom shield cover, isolating the DAC from high-frequency interference , while also acting as a heat sink for improved running efficiency. The design helps reduce distortion, including jitter, meaning you get to hear the purest sound possible.

Built around ARM STAR architecture, the powerful DSP (Digital Signal Processor) has the power to deliver complex real-time audio processing, enabling effective AI processing.
AI-assisted EQ
AI-assisted EQ tuning delivers smarter, personalised listening. The AI instantly tailors the overall sound profile or fine tunes specific details with a simple voice/text command, delivering effortless results. Control it seamlessly via app or PC web UI, for a truly flexible and intelligent listening experience. In addition to this, comprehensive DSP functions let you control characteristics such as tone, loudness, stereo width and crossfeed.
Advanced HP-EQ for hardware calibration
HP-EQ is a proprietary Luxsin technology that adapts the settings to specific headphones. With a database of over 2500 models, and growing, it’s easy to pair the settings with your exact headphones – automatically. The tech is even better if you use multiple headphones, as you can be assured of the very best performance, without having to make manual changes each time you switch between models.
Balanced outputs for pro-connectivity
For the highest quality connection, there’s a choice of headphone outputs, including 4.4mm and XLR-4 balanced as well as a regular 6.35mm output. With XLR-3 balanced outputs at the rear, you can connect into a set of compatible powered speakers, hi-fi amp or studio mixer and use the X8 as a standalone DAC.

Deploying multiple OPA1612 op-amps and TPA6120A2 high current drivers, the X8 has the power to drive a vast range of headphones. With a power output of 2 x 4800mV, the X8 smoothly drives even the least efficient headphones, giving you the widest range of headphone options possible.
User Settings Memory
For ease of use the X8 saves your specific settings for each output port, including key parameters such as volume, PEQ, sound effects, and crossfeed. When switching outputs, the system instantly recalls the corresponding configuration, eliminating the need for readjustment and delivering a true plug-and-play experience.
Luxsin Controller
The X8 supports multiple flexible and convenient control methods, including iOS and Android apps, computer web-based control (Windows/macOS), and an optional IR remote (sold separately). The device firmware supports both local and online updates, ensuring continuous optimisation.
Connect it all
For versatile connectivity, the X8 comes with all the input connections you need. These include, USB-B/C, Optical, Coaxial, and IIS, to accommodate various source devices. The IIS input supports up to eight custom configurations, ensuring compatibility with multi-type digital sources from different brands. It also features 12V Trigger in/out terminals, enabling seamless integration into existing audio systems for smoother device synchronisation and automated control.
