Meridian’s Bass & Space is a stereo enhancing technology that makes this compact system sound much more expansive than it looks – in any room. The system lets you finetune the sound according to the room size, background noise, speaker placement and personal preference. Whether the speaker is placed in a corner of a densely furnished room or the centre of a minimalist loft apartment, the Ellipse adjusts to deliver the best sound possible.

Combining a dedicated subwoofer with advanced Meridian performance technologies, such as Pro-Active Bass, gives the Ellipse an incredibly deep and powerful bass response for such a compact speaker. Thanks to the anti-resonance cabinet, the bass is also smooth and distortion-free.
Stream your music the way that suits you
With support for Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast built-in, the Meridian Ellipse makes the perfect match for both Apple iOS and Android devices. Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect are also on board (premium accounts required for full functionality), connecting you directly to your favourite music services. If you’d rather stream from your own music library, UPnP makes it easy to link up and share. It’s also Roon Ready for Hi-Res multiroom control.
Connects to other sources
As well as the wide array of wireless connectivity, the Meridian Ellipse also features sockets for your other music sources. There’s a combined 3.5mm analogue/optical digital input that’s ideal for connecting a CD player. There’s also a USB-C socket that accepts Hi-Res music files up to 192kHz/24-bit, for audiophile sound quality from your Hi-Res portable or computer.

With its smooth, harmonious design, the Ellipse is timeless in appearance. The non-reflective finish is practical and sophisticated and is balanced by the brushed metal feet.
