High-resolution treble Derived from the prestigious Platinum range, the MPD II tweeter uses a Micro Pleated Diaphragm to deliver stunning top-end detail. By pleating the tweeter’s shape, the surface area is increased eight-fold. Working by squeezing the pleats, like a super-fast accordion, gives the treble an incredible response – right up to 60,000Hz. What this means is you get uncompressed harmonics for a spacious top-end performance.
3-way design for natural mid-range With separate mid-range and bass units, the W3L delivers crystal-clear vocals for incredibly lifelike clarity. The dedicated mid-range driver is ideally sized for reproducing not just vocalists, but also other instruments that operate mainly around the middle frequencies.
