The Monitor Audio W3M is packed full of the finest speaker tech for the very best in discreet speaker sound. At the top-end, the MPD II ribbon type tweeter delivers exceptional detail and smoothness. A separate C-CAM mid-range driver helps reproduce accurate and lifelike vocals, while the twin RDT III bass drivers help fill the room with a powerful and responsive bass. Use in stereo mode, either side of a TV for top quality TV audio. Alternatively, when used with a subwoofer, the W3M speakers are ideal for ultimate quality, discreet home cinema sound.
High-resolution treble
Derived from the prestigious Platinum range, the MPD II tweeter uses a Micro Pleated Diaphragm to deliver stunning top-end detail. By pleating the tweeter’s shape, the surface area is increased eight-fold. Working by squeezing the pleats, like a super-fast accordion, gives the treble an incredible response – right up to 60,000Hz. What this means is you get uncompressed harmonics for a spacious top-end performance.
3-way design for natural mid-range and powerful bass
With separate mid-range and bass units, the W3M delivers crystal-clear vocals for incredibly lifelike clarity. With the woofers free to concentrate on the bass response, you get excellent bass depth and definition with a fast-paced response to keep the music spot-on the beat. Derived, once again, from their Platinum series speakers, the RST III woofer cones features dimpling and multi-layer construction for improved rigidity and reduced distortion, further enhancing the purity of sound.
Easy to install
Using Monitor Audio’s enhanced Tri-Grip II installation system, the W3M is quick and easy to install. Once in position, the multi-point support holds the speaker securely. Patented Quik-Link speaker cable connectors speed up installation, saving considerable time when wiring up a multiroom system.
Discreet design
With its flush-fitting, magnetically attached grille, the W3M blends seamlessly with the wall. For an even more discreet finish, the grille can be spray painted to precisely match your wall’s colour.
