Terrific speaker and service
These speakers haven't fully broken in yet but already sound fantastic. So much detail and space. They look incredible too.
As always the customer service was excellent. Many of my dealings with Richer Sounds rank among the best customer service experiences I've ever had. If they stock an item I want I go out of my way to purchase from them.

Unbelievable revolution in music I thought I knew!
I've had these a 5 days now. I immediately began bynlustening to classical, Mahler 5th. Was it?? Yes, but not like I'd ever heard it before!! The detail in the instruments, indeed instruments in the music I'd never heard before; a new 5th symphony essentially. Then 'pop' music; Lana Del Ray....clised my eyes and she was there before mo, IN the room!! Unbelievablevpresence from these units. Using with the Cambridge Audio CXA61. . WHAT a combination...unfortunately I have to keep the volume right down: neighbours!! But brilliant!!

Wonderful experience
Bought amplifier & speaker combo after excellent demonstration from Paul C of Southampton branch. Nothing was too much trouble. Our music taste & media preferences were matched to suit. Really enjoyed the experience. Have not stopped playing the system since it was set up. Very very pleased.

A lovely open textured sound
I have only had mine running a few hours, so nowhere near run-in yet, but already a lovely open textured sound with solid imaging and real depth to the soundstage. I am running them with a Quad Classic 11 integrated amp, but sense they might have even more to offer when run-in with more expensive amplifiers. A superb buy. As always, thanks to the chaps at the Croydon store for their help.

Exce;;ent sound and high quality construction.
My Monitor Audio Silver 300s both sound and look great. The beautiful wood finish has the look and feel of a quality piece of furniture. When listening at high levels the sound is powerful and controlled. While listening at low levels I was pleasantly surprised at how the depth of the bass, the soundstage and my immersion in the music was maintained. They are a joy to own and I would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

Awesome speakers and value!
After extensive auditioning of floorstanders, the minute I heard the MAS-300 speakers I loved them, and knew they had to be mine! I had considered the Monitor Audio Silver 500s as I really liked the bass extension on them too, but realistically they were too large for my 17’ x 12’ room. And I figured that I could always add additional Bass with a sub at a later point if required. Plus, I actually preferred the upper mids and top end in the 300s.
The MAs sounded totally immersive from the beginning, whatever I play is enhanced by listening through them, and to my surprise the bass sounded much better at home than it had when auditioning them at Richer Sounds so I was well pleased. They sounded warm and musical right out of the box, that being said they very quickly relaxed revealing even more depth and character across midrange, top end and bass. Sound and music is reproduced in a very realistic way, some recordings sound so good, you can almost believe the instruments are playing in your room. The sound stage can be really good too. The quality of the music or sounds depends on the source…to a degree, but no need to fret, it is never shrill, fatiguing, or even unpleasant, even with poor recordings, they manage to push out an enjoyable sound. Bass is a sophisticated bass that is absolutely engaging, ‘genuine’ bass, not ‘synthetic’ in any way, not boom boom, or thud thud…instead, you can really identify what sound or instrument is being represented…and believe, when pushed these bad boys do represent!
If I had to describe the Monitor Audios in one word, it would be addictive…it’s always a wrench turning them off! lol..so all I can say is if your budget allows, they should definitely be part of any auditioning list. They are worth every penny, and will not disappoint.
Finally, a big, big thanks to Pete and Tony of the Norwich Richer Sounds for giving a great deal on the speaker exchange and the terrific customer service…as always!

Great speakers
Bought an Arcam Solo Music from the Liverpool shop, just had to then decide on speakers..
Listened to quite a few makes, but settled on Monitor Audio. The Bronze 100's that I had previously listened to didn't quite suggest to me they might be what I was looking for. I then decided to go up not only to the 200's but to the Silver Series too, but at the time Liverpool only had the 300's, which I admit sounded quite good.
A home trial followed, initially I had issues with the tone, thinking they didn't quite match the price, but after finding ideas position for the speakers I quickly changed my mind ..
Finally correctly positioned, and paired with the Arcam, they sound fantastic. I have since heard the 200's with the Arcam, but decided to stick with the 300's. which deliver great sound even at low volume, but on a higher volume they come into their own, still sounding crisp and clear
