Studio precision, brought to home cinema
When it comes to bringing cinema technology to your home, Onkyo have always been amongst the leaders. Way back in 1993, they were the first brand to be THX-certified and were key players in bringing Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to a wider audience. With the TX-RZ70, however, it’s not just the cinema that provides inspiration, but the studio, too. The high current, low noise power transformer is massively over-specified for most domestic needs and goes on to feed top quality electronics, such as pro-quality ESS Sabre DACs (Digital to Analogue Convertors).
Cinema power
Making sure that this Onkyo has the power to do justice to its precision processing, the TX-RZ70 has power to spare. With 11 channels, each with 140 watts power, this is amongst the most powerful AVRs about. It’s also highly configurable, meaning that you can decide precisely how that mighty power is to be used…
Choose your speaker configuration
For reference grade cinema sound, the TX-RZ70 is configured with 7 surround sound speakers, two active subwoofers and 4 in-ceiling speakers, giving you an awesome 7.2.4 speaker system. But that’s not the only choice. Use the 11 powered channels to bi-amp your main speakers, run stereo speakers in another room, or even another two rooms – the choice is yours.
Dirac Live
Thanks to state-of-the-art digital room correction from Dirac, the TX-RZ70 offers pro-level room optimisation. Dirac live uses a USB microphone (not included) and dedicated PC software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended). Dirac Live Bass Control takes this to the next level, with single or twin subwoofer calibration for optimal response from the lowest tones.
THX Certification Select2 – your guarantee of cinematic sound
THX Certification Select2 means that the TX-RZ70 meets the tough standards set by THX for high-volume, low-distortion sound. Awarded to only the finest AV receivers, the TXRZ70’s powerful and dynamic sound delivers a truly cinematic thrill.
Wide range of cinematic formats – from IMAX to Atmos
Just as you’d expect from a flagship AVR, the Onkyo TX-RZ70 has all the major surround sound formats covered. Compatible formats include IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, DTS Neural:X and Auro-3D. This wide range of options means you can adapt your surround sound speaker system from the simplest system with ‘virtual height’ speakers to full-blown 7.2.4 system that truly brings the cinema to your front room.
Klipsch Optimise Mode
Unique to Onkyo, the TX-RZ70 sounds even better when partnered with Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers. Collaboration between the two companies has resulted in the implementation of precise crossover values being incorporated into the Onkyo. This means that you get optimised sound quality, at the touch of a button.
8K and 4K/120Hz compatible HDMI interface
With all HDMIs (except the front input and Zone 2 output) supporting 8K and 4K/120Hz, this is the ideal AVR for your 8K TV and the latest gaming devices. This gives you a total of six compatible HDMI inputs and two outputs. The TX-RZ70 also supports the latest copy protection standard, HDCP 2.3.
Stream it your way, with Apple AirPlay 2 and Works with Sonos
Much more than just an AV receiver, the TX-RZ70 is also a comprehensive music streamer. Apple AirPlay 2 is standard as is ‘Works with Sonos’. Integrated Amazon Music, Spotify (Premium account required for full features), TIDAL and Deezer are available, too. There’s also Chromecast, DTS Play-Fi, TuneIn for Internet radio and Bluetooth music streaming.
Works with Sonos
Works with Sonos certification means that this Onkyo seamlessly integrates with your existing Sonos system. Once connected to a compatible Sonos product (Sonos Port), you can group the receiver with other Sonos devices or use it independently. Working with Sonos means as soon as you start playing music from your Sonos app, the Onkyo switches on and automatically selects the correct input.
Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices
For the latest in smart home tech, Onkyo have made the TX-RZ70 compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply connect your compatible device and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform basic functions. Using the Apple Home App, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.
DTS Play-Fi for effortless streaming and multi-room
DTS Play-Fi is a premium, wireless control system that brings everything under one 'roof'. Download the free app and you'll not only have access to Internet radio but also popular music apps such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and Napster. As well as bringing all your streaming sources together, Play-Fi offers the potential for full multi-room music. Simply add other Play-Fi compatible sources and you'll quickly be able to build up a comprehensive music system around your home - all under the control of a single app.
Enjoy the very best in home cinema, with the Onkyo TX-RZ70.
Engineered for a powerful, full-bodied sound, from an elegant speaker design, the Wharfedale EVO 5.3 speakers balance audio and aesthetics in perfect harmony.
Sleek yet powerful speakers
Ideal for powerful sound in smaller and medium-sized rooms, the Wharfedale EVO 5.3 speakers make a brilliant choice for lovers of all types of music. Easy to accommodate in your room, these speakers still pack a punch when required. Evolved to ever higher standards, the latest EVO 5 Series uses the most advanced speaker tech for sound quality that’s at the top of its game.
Sparkling yet smooth top-end
Developed from Wharfedale’s high-end Elysian project, the EVO 5.3’s AMT (Air Motion Transformer) delivers a superbly-balanced top-end response. Using a pleated diaphragm that ‘squeezes’ and ‘expands’ the air, the AMT system moves four times more air than a traditional dome tweeter. This reduces distortion, letting the most subtle treble detail shine through. To help further reduce distortion, the 5 Series features new Silentweave and ResoFrame dampers, helping to absorb distortion for an even cleaner sound.
Dedicated mid-range for lifelike vocals
Another high-end feature is the dedicated, dome mid-range driver. Designed exclusively for mid-range frequences, this driver focuses on reproducing the purest vocals possible, with every nuance of the vocalist’s tonality clear to hear. Mid-range instruments, such as guitar and piano also benefit from the sonic transparency.
Twin woofers for punchy bass
Keeping the cabinet slim but the bass full-bodied, the EVO 5.3 feature twin, 130mm Kevlar cones. These make their presence felt, without the bass dominating the music mix. For bass that’s as clean as it is powerful, the ResoFrame and ResoSeal dampers help absorb vibrations, for an even more lifelike bass response.
Slot-loaded port cabinet for room-friendly sound
For smooth distribution of exhausted air from the cabinet, the EVO 5.3 features a three-sided SLPP (Slot-Loaded Profiled Port). By equally distributing the airflow to the left and right, as well as the rear, you don’t just get a better integrated bass response, but also easier room placement with less ‘boom’ than with conventional bass ports.
Smooth, stylish design, available in a range of colours
Built from a sandwich of materials, the low resonance cabinet is optimised for the largest internal volume, without dominating your room. The smoothly contoured design is available in a range of traditional and contemporary finishes. Choose the walnut wood veneer option to best blend with wood furniture, or choose between matte black, matte white and matte Lunar Grey for a fresh new aesthetic.

Packed with innovative speaker tech, the Wharfedale EVO 5.1 speakers deliver a big-hearted sound from compact and stylish cabinets.
The versatile EVO 5
As the most compact speakers in the EVO 5 range, the Wharfedale EVO 5.1 speakers are supremely versatile. Perfect for stereo sound in a smaller room, either with or without a subwoofer. Their natural balance and even-handed sound also makes them ideal as desktop monitor speakers. If you’re planning on putting together a premium home cinema system, they work exceptionally well as effect speakers within an EVO 5 speaker set-up.
Sparkling yet smooth top-end

This reduces distortion, letting the most subtle treble detail shine through. To help further reduce distortion, the 5 Series features new Silentweave and ResoFrame dampers, helping to absorb distortion for an even cleaner sound.
Seamless bass and mid-range
Using a 130mm Kevlar woofer cone, the EVO 5.1 delivers accurate sound throughout the mid-range and bass. Although these are the smallest EVO 5 speakers, the long-throw drivers reach down impressively low, for a smooth and richly-balanced bass response. The Kevlar cone and powerful magnet ensure a crisp response, with timing that’s always bang-on the beat. For sound that’s as clean as it is powerful, the ResoFrame and ResoSeal dampers help absorb vibrations, for an even more lifelike mid-range and bass performance.

Evolved to the highest standards of sound quality, the Wharfedale EVO 5.1 brings big musical talent to the world of compact speakers.
Advanced speaker technology keeps the Wharfedale EVO 5.C fully engaged in the most complex soundtracks.
The centre speaker. Evolved
The ideal match for the Wharfedale EVO 5 range, the EVO 5.C combines top quality within a compact casing. With the same drive units as the EVO 5.1 and 5.3 speakers, the centre speaker carries consistent tonality across the sound stage – meaning you’re less aware of the speakers themselves and more of the sound itself.
Sparkling yet smooth top-end
Developed from Wharfedale’s high-end Elysian project, the EVO 5.C’s AMT (Air Motion Transformer) delivers a superbly-balanced top-end response.
Lifelike dialogue
Using twin 130mm Kevlar woofer cones, the EVO 5.C delivers accurate sound throughout the mid-range and bass. Brilliantly suited to a centre speaker, the drivers feature ResoFrame and ResoSeal dampers, helping to reduce distortion to the lowest levels possible. This means that they reveal every subtle nuance of dialogue, making even the most complex soundtracks easy to follow.
Smooth, punchy bass
Although the centre speaker focuses on mid-range, it still needs to carry dynamic weight across the soundstage – linking the left and right speakers with sequences such as heavy gun fire or a jet flying from right to left. For this reason, the EVO 5.C uses twin woofers, with powerful magnets to produce all the necessary firepower across a wide stage.

The SVS SB-2000 Pro delivers the deepest bass to suit the most impressive AV systems.
Deep, effortless bass
Dropping right down to a china-rattling 19Hz and using an impressive, long throw, 12 inch bass woofer, the SB-2000 Pro delivers bass so low you’ll be grinning from ear to ear. With this degree of low-level extension, you won’t miss a note of any soundtrack – right down to the grumbling low notes of a submarine or the latest Star Wars movie space scene. Using a mighty 550 watt amplifier and large driver magnet, the bass is also exceptionally well controlled, giving the punchiest dynamics.
Impressive with music, too
Keeping the mighty power under tight control, the sophisticated Analogue Devices Audio DSP (Digital Signal Processor) includes an array of filters and other parameter controls for fine-tuning. It’s thanks to this that the sub never sounds overblown or boomy.
Room-friendly
Despite its mighty power output, the SB2000 Pro is one of the most room-friendly subwoofers in its class. Without the need to worry about blocking a port outlet, the sealed cabinet is compact and easy to position. Given the amount of bass on tap, the dimensions are as modest as they can be.
Smartphone app control
Available for Apple iOS and Android, the SVS control app gives armchair, precision control of your subwoofer. From the comfort of your listening position, you get access to all DSP functions including volume, EQ, low pass filter, phase, polarity, room gain, custom presets and system settings. Connecting via Bluetooth, full control is possible even when the subwoofer is out of sight.
Pro build quality and choice of luxury finish
Featuring a robust, MDF cabinet, the SB-2000 Pro not only provides resonance-free, low distortion sound but is also built to last. Luxury gloss black, white or black ash finishes match a wide range of décor and other speakers. A non-resonant, fabric mesh grille is also supplied, keeping the woofer protected when needed.
Experience cinema level bass in your own home, without the bulk you might expect, with the SVS SB-2000 Pro.
