Great sound, from a compact amp
Despite its compact size, the Pro-Ject MaiA S3 uses a ‘grown-up’ Class A/B amplifier. This helps give the amp a smooth, detailed sound that’s in tune with a wide range of music genres. Furthermore, the dual mono design splits the left and right signals, helping to produce a wide soundstage and exceptional realism.
Connect it all – digital and analogue
Featuring no fewer than eight source inputs, the MaiA S3 can connect it all. For digital sources, two optical and one coaxial input make the amp ideal for connecting your TV, games console and network streamer or CD player. Analogue sources are served by three line level inputs plus a dedicated input for your (MM) turntable.
Bluetooth HD connectivity
In addition to the comprehensive wired connections, the MaiA S3 also includes wireless Bluetooth HD pairing. This is perfect for linking to your smartphone or tablet and streaming your favourite music services, such as Spotify and Deezer. Compatible with aptX and aptX HD, you get to enjoy CD quality sound or even better with the HD setting.
Headphone and variable output for subwoofer
If you fancy using smaller speakers or just crave extra bass, a variable output provides the perfect link to hook up your choice of active subwoofer. Around the front, you’ll find a 6.35mm headphone socket for private listening.
Compact size
Despite packing in all that connectivity, the MaiA S3 is as compact as they come. Around half the size of other separate amps, the MaiA S3 is perfect for rooms where space is at a premium, or as a desktop system. Choose between black and silver for the best match with your other components.
