6 YEAR SUPERCARE COSTS JUST £9.99 ON ALL ITEMS UNDER £100, OR 10% OF PURCHASE PRICE ON ANYTHING OVER £100.

This page is intended to demonstrate the incredible value of our 6 Year Supercare. Under recent legislation, we are obliged to point out that you obviously do not need to purchase an extended warranty at the same time you purchase your electrical goods and are entitled to shop around. We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:

Free loan machine (Subject to availability. Only if taken back to store)
Should you encounter a problem, just ask and you'll be provided with a unit to ensure you're not without music whilst your equipment is being fixed.

Like for like machine if unit is unrepairable
If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.

Free routine service / Maintenance checks
have your unit serviced as often as you wish, free of charge, during the 6 year period. (Normally excluded from extended guarantees).

45 day cooling off period
If you're not happy with our 6 Year Supercare package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.

If you use the policy in the 6 years, you'll have saved yourself tens and perhaps hundreds of pounds. If you don't use it... IT WON'T COST YOU A THING!*

* Simply return your unused Supercare policy within one month of the expiration date, and we'll refund the price of your warranty.

For truly immersive surround sound, AV separates are still the way to go and introductions don't get any better than the Yamaha RXV381.

A step-up in sound

Soundbars are great but there's nothing that can beat the sound of a separate AV system. By using a discrete amplifier with low jitter PLL (Phase-Locked Loop), distortion is exceptionally low and background noise very quiet. The amplifier also delivers a handy 70 watts per channel (6 ohms) for totally immersive sound. For an even punchier sound, try the 'Extra Bass' function. This gives a deeper, richer bass response and works really well with small speakers and at lower volume levels.

Powerful processing
A further advantage of going the separates route is the inclusion of powerful surround sound processing. In addition to full HD audio decoding of both Dolby and DTS formats, the RXV381 features Yamaha's famous DSP Surround programs. With 17 modes from The Roxy Theatre to a concert Hall in Munich, the RX-V381 gives a variety of acoustic settings for a unique sound. Added to this, four SCENE selections ensure that you always have the best setting when watching films or listening to music.

Now with full HDCP2.2 compatibility
The latest RXV381 now has HDCP2.2 compatibility through all of its four HDMI inputs. Along with support for HDR and BT.2020, this means the RXV381 is fully equipped for handling the latest UHD Blu-ray players and HDR-equipped 4K TVs.

Stream your music with Bluetooth connectivity
Pair up your smartphone or tablet and you can wirelessly stream music. Playback music stored on your device or stream music services such as Spotify. Thanks to the Compressed Music Enhancer, the sound quality is also enhanced, giving a more spacious and natural sound.

Connect it all - including your USB memory device
With no fewer than four HDMI inputs, the RXV381 is flexible enough for the most complex AV systems. There are also a wide range of other inputs for older sources you may have, like DVD players. Around the front there's a USB interface that's ideal for plugging in a memory stick and playing back your stored music.

Easy to use with automatic speaker set-up
With YPAO sound optimisation and colour onscreen display, the Yamaha RXV381 isn't the daunting prospect to operate that you might expect. YPAO uses the supplied microphone to measure your room's acoustics and then sets the various parameters to suit. All this is done within just a few minutes and gives professional results at the touch of a button.

Take home entertainment to the next level and get a big sound to match your big TV, with the Yamaha RXV381.

YAMAHA RXV381 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A replacement for Yamaha DSP-AX761 I've recently bought a UHD TV and a UHD Blu-ray player. However, my previous, elderly Yamaha AV amplifier which has never missed a beat is not compatible, Hence the need to purchase an up to date model. I didn't need anything too pricey or exotic as I live in a flat which has a small lounge. The Yamaha RX-V381 fits the bill perfectly, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Budget AV Amp I needed a new AV Amp to replace my ageing Yamaha receiver, but didn't really need anything too fancy, as we only watch SKY on the TV. This amp is really easy to setup, and sounds great, I couldn't be more happy with it! I would also like to commend Sam at the Birmingham branch, who gave me some great advice and was a great help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Arc not working Set up pretty easy, connected virgin box with Arc on amp and on the same on tv,got sound but no picture.try everything but only way to get picture and sound was connect Virgin box direct to tv and optical to amp.Seems this is a common problem with a lot of amps not just Yamaha.Optical not the best for sound especially Blu Ray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All about the sound I already knew it would be good but not that good. It has all the connectivity I needed for movies and games so for £219 I didn't hesitate and with a money back £21 for six years warranty, why not? More about the sound though: really does sound much better than my old onkyo which had more wattage per channel! Comes with the set up mic for easy setup ( just remember to turn the sub down to half before setting up ) sounds a lot louder than the 70watts per channel quoted but then you'll never need it at full volume , it comfortably sits at just over half/three quarters volume for movies and less for gaming! I haven't played music through Bluetooth yet but if you're buying this then you've probably already got a hifi? So many different sound settings to choose from I would be surprised if you don't find 1 you like.Highly recommend this Yamaha AV receiver, you will not be disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant 4K HDR 3D Compatible AMP - All the Basics covered well Very easy to setup - Reads the device info from the HDMI connection, eg it pulled through 'Xbox One', 'PS4' and 'Tivo' instantly. You can also rename the connections if you want. To enable full 4K you need to go into 'Advanced' Settings and switch to 'Mode1' - After that perfect. If you don't need the extras 7.1 / streaming etc why pay for them! This does all the basics brilliantly - With 4K / 3D / HDR compatible ports on top!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Upgrade from an old Yamaha av Surprised how easy it is to connect compares with our old av. Happy with the sound quality for the money. Biggest disappointment was no pass through, especially as we specifically stated this a major requirement to sales advisor in Southampton, don't really want to turn on the amp for breakfast news.
