Masters of the digital radio, Pure Audio, have now launched powered stereo speakers that pack endless listening options. Connect a TV, PC, games console, smartphone and more, plus, being a Pure, there are also DAB+/FM tuners built-in too. The self-powered speakers mean there’s no need for additional amplification, making them ideal for use in smaller rooms or as a desktop system.
Connect your device via USB-C for Hi-Res sound
For the best possible sound from your smartphone, tablet or computer, connect via USB-C. Ideal for streaming Hi-Res music files, USB-C provides the best quality connection for music purists.
Stream music wirelessly, with Bluetooth connectivity
Thanks to its built-in Bluetooth receiver, the Classic Active can also stream wireless music from your smartphone, tablet or laptop device. Simply pair the device and playback the audio – cable-free.
Connect directly to your TV
As well as linking to your smartphone and computer, the Classic Active also makes a great alternative to a soundbar. Featuring HDMI ARC for a TV, the Classic Actives connect via a single HDMI cable, with your TV’s remote retaining volume control over the speakers. With punchy, stereo sound, you’ll feel much more immersed in your TV viewing.
Pure radio
Unlike most other powered stereo speakers, the Classic Active features a built-in DAB+/FM radio. Featuring a DAB+ tuner, you get to hear all your favourite digital stations in crystal-clear clarity. DAB also introduces a wide range of stations that aren’t available on FM, such as the ever-popular BBC 6 Music, 5 Sports Extra, 4 Extra and many more. For local stations or areas with poor DAB reception, there’s also an FM tuner built-in.
Inputs for other devices
For easy connectivity with other devices, digital and analogue, the Classic Active has you covered. The optical digital input is perfect for a games console, CD transport, music streamer or set-top TV box. For other sources, such as CD player without digital output or a turntable with built-in phono pre-amp, the RCA phono AUX input is perfect.
Powerful sound
These two-way powered speakers feature generous 5.25 inch woofer cones for extended bass and a more immersive sound. The built-in amplifier produces 40 watts per channel, which is ample for powerful sound from a desktop system. For even deeper bass, simply connect your choice of active sub via the subwoofer output.
