Advanced cabinet design for the purest sound For the purest, most natural sound, Q Acoustics have applied science and innovative engineering. Featuring HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology, distortion is reduced to a minimum. Larger speaker cabinets tend to build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalising the pressure around the cabinet, the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.
Improved cabinet bracing Working alongside HPE is P2P bracing. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is deployed to enhance rigidity and further reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, more focused sound.
