Designed to drive one or two in-wall subwoofers, the Velodyne Acoustics SC-1500 makes the ideal amplifier for the most sophisticated installations. A high-resolution DSP with EQ, auto room correction and app control via Bluetooth ensures seamless operation. With an impressive 520 watts of power on tap, effortless bass control is guaranteed.
Efficient power
Featuring a Class D amp with up to 520 watts (1000 watts at 4 ohms), the SC-1500 has ample power to run one or two subwoofers. Class D amplification ensures cool running and lower energy consumption, while still providing deep, powerful sound for tightly controlled bass.
Automatic calibration
For optimal response, the SC-1500 comes equipped with automatic calibration with DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Connect the supplied microphone and the system measures the room’s acoustics and sets the amp for the best response.
Personalised sound
For sound that’s personalised to your preferences, the SC-1500’s high-resolution DSP features a 6-band PEQ. There’s also a subsonic filter for reducing cone distortion.
Seamless app control
Download the Velodyne Acoustics AutoEQ SUB app and take control of the SC-1500 to the next level. The app lets you configure all the subwoofer’s settings from the comfort of your chair. Configure the volume, phase, crossover, subsonic filter and high output filter all via your smartphone’s screen. You can also save six different settings, which is ideal for tuning the sub to movies and different genres of music.
Loop speaker signal
With high level speaker inputs and outputs, you can simply loop the main signal through this amp. Then simply use the crossover and volume controls to adjust the sub(s) to the ideal setting for your room. You can also loop through RCA signals, plus there are LFE inputs (RCA phono and XLR) that are ideal for linking directly to an AVR.
