Had this a couple of weeks now. Does what it says on the tin, nice deep bass, couldn't ask for more.
And cheers to the delivery driver (DPD) who carried it up six flights of stairs to deliver it to me!

An excellent value for money sub woofer
An excellent value for money sub woofer teamed up with a with a Denon AVR-X2800H DAB Amp and 5.1 BOSE speaker system, that delivers spectacular base for your average lounge sized room. Really chuffed to mint balls with it.

The first thing I would like to mention is the great service and advice from James at the Preston store, always friendly, quick to answer questions and offer advice, in person, over the phone and via email. This purchase was part of a package for my Denon AVC-X3800. The package is a 5.1 surround sound set up and is made up of a pair of the 12.3 floor speakers for the front channels, a 12.C for the central channel, a pair of 12.1 for the rear channels and a SW-10 subwoofer. I’ve been using the speakers for the last week and waited to submit this review so I had spent time with the products, which I have used every day. I needed to replace my Samsung Q series Soundbar and had concerns about moving away from a Dolby Atmos Soundbar with 22 speakers and upwards firing speakers as the sound bar fitted easily into the living room and sounded great (or so I thought). I was unsure how these six speakers could improve on the Soundbar when it came to gaming, watching TV and movies. Needless to say they are a game changer, the difference between the sound quality and space is night and day between these speakers and the Soundbar. The sound is cleaner, it does not feel like you’re being bombarded by sound all the time, as it did with the Soundbar, instead this set up sounds clean, precise and more involved. Going back to some of my favourite movies and games, ones that I have watched many times or spend hours playing, it is becomes clear that these speakers deliver sound that I’ve never heard before. I think the sound bar throws all the sounds at you all the time from so many angles that certain elements get drownned out. With this set up you don’t miss anything, the soundstage is nice and wide I don’t miss the upwards firing speakers at all (although I will include some at a later stage out of curiosity). Overall I cannot vault the speakers. They do take up a lot more room but the trade off is worth it. Put together with the Denon I can’t recommend these enough.

What a great Sub - Blew My Socks Off!!
I've barely had this 2 weeks, but I have to say I am more than impressed with the performance. First time there was an explosion, I nearly fell off my chair!! I had read a few reviews on the Wharfedale speakers and they were all 5 star reviews. I can only say these reviews are justified. So pleased I bought this for my 5.1 set up.
