Rated 5 out of 5 by Franco66 from Packs a punch I purchased this a few weeks ago as I felt that my Onkyp mini system wasn't quite coping with the size of the living room in my new house. Wow....what a difference....my Accoustic Energy speakers are actually now earning their keep and it makes such a difference to the sound of my Project vinyl deck and my vintage Pioneer 101 carousel CD player. Then there's the added bonus of Bluetooth. This connected within seconds and produced crisp sound whilst playing HD music via my Amazon account

Rated 4 out of 5 by vmaxjude from Great first impressions, with minor reservations My elderly Marantz PM-57 had started to malfunction so I needed a replacement. I plumped for this Aiwa due to the excellent reviews, Aiwa's legacy reputation, and various foibles with the spec of the competitors from Richer Sounds. I use the amp with a Marantz CD6006, a vintage Rotel RP-855 turntable with a separate phono stage and some Mordaunt Short floorstanders. I am very impressed with the clean sound, and there is plenty of power for the medium sized room it is in. I like the build quality and it looks good. The master power switch on the back is a nice touch (I wish the CD6006 had one) and the Bluetooth functionality will come in handy no doubt (not tested yet). My only gripes are a cheapo looking remote with very springy rubber buttons (but it works OK) and the fact that it has a LCD display and non-mechanical buttons and controls that I am not convinced will last for 10 years. I have taken out the excellent value 6 year warranty as a precaution (refunded if you don't claim - how good is that). Richer the dogs as per.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Belly2 from Versatility Delivered! The Aiwa 120 replaces a conked out Brennan JB7. It plays my mp3 files from there without fuss and with more power. Spotify works flawlessly and also radio via aux1. Very happy with the sound from my 40 odd yr old B&W DM11s. Tops don't screech and bass is plenty powerful, even from these modestly sized speakers. It only just fits my tv/hifi cabinet so I can't use the mains on/off switch, inexplicably placed at the back, without a faff. Still, it's not a big problem. Very pleased.
