P8 headphones a great piece of kit
I bought a set of headphones B&W P8, phoned up on the day to ask for a demonstration, the salesman said I will put them on charge now if you’re coming this afternoon, when I arrived and said I’d like a demonstration on the headphones nobody had put them on charge they were flat I thought that was a good start, got them charged and gave me a demonstration. The guy in the shop was very helpful.

Great Sound Quality
Previously had PX7 headphones so knew the sound quality was going to be good. The build quality also feels great.
Would have got 5 stars if there was a plug in the package (for the price of the headphones you’d expect one).

Fantastic sound!
I bought the Px8 3 days ago, I have upgraded from Sony WH1000XM4. Wow what a difference you can hear more detail/separation of the instruments & vocals. If you have the money go for them without hesitation. If read or see anything on You Tube re the ‘wear sensor’ not working properly upgrade to software version 3 & they work fine.Try before you buy as not all ears/ hearing are the same.

Great Looks, Amazing Sound
I A/B tested the Bowers and Wilkins PX8’S and Focal Bathys in the Reigate store, courtesy of John, as I was interested in both. After ensuring both the respective apps were installed and the firmware up to date I had a listen to both sets with music provided by an iPhone.
From reviews, I expected to prefer the Bathys and was semi resigned to the higher cost but for me, the PX8’s blew them away. The PX8’s instantly put a smile on my face and had my foot tapping and head nodding. In comparison, the Bathys sounded so bright in the treble it came across as almost ‘screechy’. They also sounded flatter in tone but did have a wider soundstage than the PX8’s.
The PX8’s are well designed and look lovely while the Bathys have a teenage gamer aesthetic that I would have put up with if they were the better sounding headphones.
Obviously, sound really is subjective to the listener, while a lot of reviews prefer the Bathys, I went with the PX8’s and haven’t stopped smiling since.
As always, great service from John in the Reigate store. The delivery team got them to me the next day as well. Chuffed.
