Bowers & Wilkins Px8 (Black)
Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Over Ear Headphones
£599
”There is a level of clarity and insight here that we haven’t heard bettered at this level.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ – 5 Star review.
Flagship wireless headphones that set the standard
The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 headphones stand at the top of an already impressive range. Combining exceptional audio performance, premium materials, intelligent technology and iconic style, the Px8s really are the best of the best.
Award-winning sound quality
At the heart of the Px8 is a high-resolution, 24-bit DSP (Digital Signal Processor). Combined with aptX Adaptive wireless technology, this means that you get the very best Bluetooth sound possible. As you’d expect from this premium audio company, the drive units are something special. Carbon-coned and angled towards your ears, the drive units deliver a sound that’s crystal-clear, accurate packed full of detail.
Outside noise – cancelled
Proof that not all ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) headphones are made equal, the Px8 cancels outside noise with outstanding precision. Six microphones work with Bowers & Wilkins’ proprietary noise cancelling technology for superb background noise suppression, without affecting the musicality. A further benefit is when making calls, your voice sounds clearer and less distorted to your caller.
Premium comfort
Befitting a flagship model, the Px8 uses premium quality materials. Cast aluminium arms contrast with Nappa leather trim for a luxurious aesthetic. Soft pads surround your ears and, because the arms supply just the right amount of pressure, you get the perfect balance of a snug fit, without feeling the pressure. They’re also lighter than many of their rivals, further improving their long-term comfort.
Control your headphones, with the Bowers & Wilkins Music app
Bowers & Wilkins’ Music app lets you access a range of handy features. From here, you can control the ANC level, check battery level and set a standby timer. The latest revisions also introduce more tailored acoustic settings – including adjustments for bass and treble.
Extra-long battery life
With up to 30 hours battery life, the Px8s easily have enough juice for a week or two’s worth of commuting. What’s more, this is with Bluetooth and ANC activated, so you don’t have to go without noise isolation to get this battery life. If you’re in a hurry, just 15 minutes of charge is enough for seven hours playback.
Get to the heart of your music, with the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 headphones.

Excellent Service. Excellent Staff.
Bought some high end headphones and would not have been able to make an informed choice without the help of the staff at London Bridge Richer Sounds. So helpful and answered all questions thoroughly. Highly recommended.

Excellent headphones
I was using a set of Sennheiser momentum in ear buds and thought the sound on them was fantastic. I decided I wanted over ear ones as well so read a lot of reviews about the PX8’s and after getting them I have not been disappointed. I did treat myself and went for the McLaren ones, which don’t sound any different but just wanted them. They are comfy the battery is great, been using them for a week and still haven’t charged them yet. The sound is amazing. Very crisp and the bass doesn’t let you down. All in all I know they are a lot of money and I wouldn’t say they are more than double the price better than my in ear but they are well worth it. So if you can stretch to them go for it. They are a proper premium set of headphones. And definitely use Richer Sounds because they were amazing, especially Joe from the Maidstone branch who helped me. Big thank you to him.

Good balanced sound with great definition
Bought these to replace my ageing beats pro. While these dont get quite the same punch from the base, the overall quality is much better with the definition between base and top notes being incredibly defined. Superb kit and very happy with them.

Nuanced and subtle sounds
I initially looked at the PX7-2, which are gorgeous and punchy. The details on the PX8 might be overlooked, but are worth noting. A metal arm, leather details on the zip case etc. remind you that this is a premium product. But is it worth the upgrade? My advice is to listen to both sets one after the other to the musical style(s) you mainly listen to. The PX8 is less fatiguing that the PX7s, with a more subtle and nuanced performance. The staff were wonderful. Helpful but gave us time to properly demo both headphone sets.
